Hah, agreed. As my mothers learned.

When I first joined this site I had been given 2 plants. And I decided to try my luck with them, so I built a grow box and tended to them.

Well when they were done my mom moved my grow box. (She wanted the rubber maid container for storage) Needless to say she won't touch anything related to that area of recreation anymore, only to move it to my room if left out.

Forgot to add a few words.

It;s much better to have a open relationship with your parents about these kind of things, than it is to hide it.

When I used to hide it and keep it from them it added a lot of unneeded stress/anxiety.

Now that they know, it's a lot more fun and made my relationship with my parents 100 times better, than when I was hiding it. And I don't mean just weed either. Their philosophy is: I make my own choices, no one has any influence on them. And as long as I keep my job/go to work everyday, doesn't affect me financially/mentally/physically, In no way is it burdening anyone and I'm free to do what I please.
