This is the best case i've seen for a neat little grow!
I'd say stick with it, do either one plant or 4 small ones and use soil and cfls. if you top them/scrog then you'll end up making a bigger canopy and those top buds will soak up as much of the light as possible.

you might even be able to get away with using a 250watt hps, but you'd have to check the sizes out.

You're going to have an incredibly hard time preventing light leaks with that case. You need to make a light trap for each intake/exhaust fan and cover the side windows. Unless you plan on growing autos, that might be a problem.

As I said earlier the case will be different than on the pictures, example without the side windows and less fans.

Thank you! I'm thinking about keeping this idea, yeah. About the lights I was thinking about going with LED, but I'll look into hps.

I have been thinking about a grow cabinet too (as previously suggested), but I will not build it myself and therefore I was wondering if anyone could recommend me a good place to look for a pre-built grow cabinet?

you'll get more satisfaction out of something you make yourself... get a white 5' garage storage cabinet, rotozip, mh/hps, and intake/exhaust fans... good as gold... can usually find FREE cabinets on craigslist...
