Okay. Maybe I wouldn't have beat him with it after all.yell i still have it.
it was one of those things were were painting graffity on the wall in the basement and it just got painted. my best freind showed my right away it just happened a sray can got bumped off the shelf fell on the ball and covered the sign. it said "This ball was caught by Randy Xxxxxxx on (can't remember date) it is the 36th (may have been 38 or some other 3O'd #) Home Run Hit by (Then signed) #5 Johnny Bench
He also signed my glove printed by the this is an offical some kinda glove
"THIS IS AN OFFICAL GLOVE THAT CAUGHT A HOME RUN HIT BY" Then below that he signed #5 Johnny Bench.
I also mete Pete Rose, He just signed his name on the thumb of my glove. Joe Morgan signed the second finger. Sparkey signed in the palm (almost wore out the last time I saw the glove) Practace hard and one day you can try out for the Red's Skarky" 5 other player signed it all so.
I use the glove until I got in high school. Then years later i gave it to my coz he used it and to day his two boy use use as one of their little leuage gloves daily.
It's real cool and gets played with they now the history and what the signatures are that just makes it better. They have had about 5 or 6 more ball players sign it since it left me. from what I am told every one that signed it was told how grampa fumbled the home run ball but I snatched it away from him (it was on tv) it was also a game winning home run.
Charley Hustle! He's in my top 4 ballplayers of all time list: Cobb, Gehrig, Mantle, and Rose.
