A good example of douchebaggery is when someone insults you and you insult them back. You apologize but they refuse. That sounds like a real douchebag to me.

Hitler wasn't a "conservative." Hitler was a statist, much like the current administration in the White House. Also, Hitler wasn't a "Christian" either. People who love the Lord and have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior don't hate Jews. In fact, they don't hate anyone.

I'm not sure if anyone knows what Hitler really was. The revisionists have shredded history. I know that the nazi party was the national socialist party or something like that which was running against the communist party when hitler came to power. Some say he was extreme right, others say extreme left. I think the one thing most people agree upon is that hitler was extreme. :!:

He WAS that; aside from being a closet homosexual (debatable) and half jewish. I'd say he was more pagen than anything.

"Hitler's references to providence and God and the ritualistic pageantry of Nazism were more than likely pagan than Christian. Earthly symbols of German valour and Teutonic strength were to be worshipped - not the forgiving, compassionate representative of an "Eastern Mediterranean servant ethic imposed on credulous ancient Germans by force and subterfugeit" -unknown

Hitler did love him some bible quotes though.
He really likes give unto cearar that which is ceasars.
He was occult IMO but knew the majority of Germany was Christian so he used that as a tool.
Collage will tell you Hitler was extreme right.
While Stalin was extreme left.
IMO this is incorrect.
Both were extreme left or statists.
While extreme right would be Anachy.

It should look like this from left to right.
Communist Socialist
NAZI________Fascist______Constitutional Republic_____Minanachy______Anachy

This is based on Government command and control.
Who owns/controls the means of production.
The State or the people.
How much force is the government authorized to use against its people to gain compliance.

MexicanWarlord Which one of those guys is the Federal Agent?
The KKK would have died decades ago if it wasn't for the FBI running them.

So here is the basics of Nazism:
Nazism, known officially in German as National Socialism[1][2][3][4] (German: Nationalsozialismus), is the totalitarian ideology and practices of the Nazi Party or National Socialist German Workers’ Party under Adolf Hitler, and the policies adopted by the dictatorial government of Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945.[5][6][7][8]
Nazism is often considered by scholars to be a form of fascism. While it incorporated elements from both left and right-wing politics, the Nazis formed most of their alliances on the right.[9] The Nazis were one of several historical groups that used the term National Socialism to describe themselves, and in the 1920s they became the largest such group. The Nazi Party presented its program in the 25 point National Socialist Program in 1920. Among the key elements of Nazism were anti-parliamentarism, Pan-Germanism, racism, collectivism,[10][11] eugenics, antisemitism, anti-communism, totalitarianism and opposition to economic liberalism and political liberalism.[11][12][13]
I guess this would make them more right wing, no?
I also hope this quells the notion that you right wingers lay on us lefties. If we were to be socialists, we'd be nothing like the Nazis.

I've been trying to tell people he was extreme far right. Bottom line is he was so far right he was almost left. Hitler was just completely off the political spectrum.

Hey, Doc ...

I enjoy your posts. You're a voice of reason in the forum. :)

The Nazis were not far right ... they were statists who owed their allegiance to the state. They were devout socialists.

On the extreme left, we have the communists and the fascists who believe in strict state control of the economy.

Right of center we have the conservatives.

Further right of center we have the libertarians and the founding fathers.

On the extreme right, we have anarchists.

Ayn Rand put it very well when she said: "The communists and Nazis are two rival gangs fighting over the same territory."

you have to be very careful when mixing terms like socialist and conservative. conservative liberal are degrees which with someone believes in a form a govt.

for example an american conservative believes in adherence to the constitution. a communist conservative believes in adherence to communism. in these instances, both are called conservatives, with 2 diametrically opposing views.

pay attention to the news. they do it all the time. if a communist conservative advocates some strict adherence to some ludicrous law like no religious freedom, the news only points out that they are conservative. they never tell you that what it really means is that he is total opposite of an american conservative.

Fuck Ann Rand. She was a political idealog. Her views would never work in real life. So what do you say about my expose' on the Nazis? seems like you are always equating the Nazis to the left?

Thank you. In school we were taught that fascism was on the extreme right of the political spectrum. I guess it depends on who you ask. I looked it up and got different answers on each site I checked. World history class was a long, long time ago for me and the whole political spectrum has changed since it was taught to me.
