most stable, tastiest, frostiest IBL for home breeding?

This is for home breeding AKA pollen chucking.

I m looking for ideas for very stable strains, REGULAR seeds. Reputable breeders.

Something that I can't tell the difference between any of the plants out of a pack of 10.
Something that is not like a good old Afghan Kush but something that has a lot of flavor and smell.
Id prefer something that is fairly new, with high THC content.
55-80 days flowering time.

no fem

Id also like to hear about breeders that are not so well known.

Also let me know whether you have grown your suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Depends what you are after hey. I find it hard to go past Mr Nice, Sin City, Humboldt as they have been most consistent for me. Depends what you are after...terpenes, yield, structure, potency, indica/sativa etc. Once you have an idea, then you search for the ones closest to what you want and try and make it better than the parents. Anyone can chuck (i've done plenty) but if you have a solid idea of what you want first, it makes narrowing it down so much easier. Then breed for traits. Just my 02c :)

I am a not so known breeder, mostly because ya can't get my beans in a seed bank

Two awesome strains I have grown and bred with are ACE's Zamaldelica and Golden Tiger. Both bred from 100% Sat Land Races and both finish in 11~12 weeks

Where can you get any of your beans? Would love to explore a real satty cross like that.

have fun finding stable seeds, uniform from seed.. there are some out there but most seeds are f1..i have a few stabilized strains, th seeds bubble gum, seedsmans original skunk1,seedsmans top 44, serious seeds bubble gum, and some others,, oh the big from bcbd is a stabilized strain.. i try to buy as many stabilized, true breeds, or ibl's i can find but even then some of them get planted and are all opver the place so some strains that claim to be stable are anything but,, like the shit from mr.nice,,says its a true breed, plant some,, every one is a different phenio... just search stabilized hybrids, true breed, or ibl's on some sites, like the single seed center has a good search engine...i use their search then buy seeds from midweeksong.. but stable seeds are far and few between so be carefull, plant a few and make sure they are uniform.. if you find a good list of stabilized strains ,please get it to me,,i love buying stable seeds when i can find them...

I dont have a whole lot of space, like thechemist77 says, most seeds out there are f1 s now and when I use them for my pollen chucks I endup with very unpredictable genetics.

I have a F3 strain I made (originally started with spacebomb x medicine), very stable, uniform (a friend tested the seeds and accidently stressed them throughout flowering and out of 50 females, not one of them hermied and they all had the exact same smell ( PINEAPPLE). It was far from professional breeding, always using a random male on a new selected female with never more than 4 or 5 females to chose from, but with a bit of luck, I ended up with a killer strain.

The problem is I dont have that many seeds left, it yields poorly and stretch a little too much. I am looking for a match for that plant. I dont want Jack because Jack is in a lot of my other crosses.

it doesnt have to be a landrace, I just want something that has already been worked for 3 generations...

If you are seeing lots of different phenos in a small batch of seeds you most likely are seein F2's as that is where the most different phenos are found.

I like to share F2's for this reason as this is where the most variety and fire come from. ( share means free here)

F1's tend to either follow the mom or the dad or a combination so usually 3 to 4 different phenos is all you see

these are general rules so obviously mileage can vary

By the time you get to F3 you should only see 1 or 2 phenos and the high, taste & smell should be fairly stable

Tis true, very few are taking strains to F6 any more

Tis also true that strain names don't really matter much any more

I get all my Land Races from the real seed company, they are what they say they are as they travel to where they grow naturally and collect seeds. They are a nice test of a good grower as they are a bitch to grow LOL

I would agree with that using true breeding p1 stock but with these multi poly hybrid strains and having so many genes in them f1 is where you will find the most phenos in poly hybrid strains. Too many recessive can come out in these poly hybrids. Would love to have some real true p1 hybrids. Bodhi will be releasing some and I will be getting one that interests me

I found Serious Seeds Bubblegum to be anything but stable. I germinated two packs, and there were at least 4 distinct phenos from the bunch.... and none of them smelled/tasted anything like bubblegum!

The AK-47 was much more stable imo. This was years ago though, so could be different now.

I actually have similar experiences as RM3 with f1s, even with polyhybrids. The first generation always seems pretty consistent, then the 2nd generation goes wild. Most strains these days tend to be polyhybrids x with polyhybrids.

Yea that's what I'm talking about mutli poly hybrid strains. Every pack of multi poly hybrid strains I pop always has at least 3 different phenos in them just from my experiences. But you and RM3 are correct when it come to true hybrids tho

PeakseedsBC C99 is extremely uniform. In fact it's the only thing I've grown where all plants were nearly identical.

And I also recently did a pollen chuck with it for the exact same reasons you chose. Stable, reg, under 9 weeks.
I was eyeing that one, ... plus I would be mixing pineapple x pineapple in the smell department, The reason why I am hesitant is I have read many times that it lacks in potency department.

I agree too f2 is where you see the most phenos, thats where taking to f3 is like playing the lottery for the home grower, still fun. When you take to F3, even if you miss out on what you were trying to accomplish you still endup with a fairly stable new cross.

Oh yeah I forgot about C99. Very consistent. Would be good breeding stock IMO. Potency can be there although I did find it varies a bit plant to plant. Not super potent though.

Also Peyote Purple is really really stable. It's not strong smoke at all though. The exact opposite.

Yeah I've read the C99 lends its genetics to crosses nicely. Can't wait to grow out some of the pollen chucks I did. I never found it to be lacking any potency but maybe I'm just a bit of a lightweight. It has always done the job for me. :)

I don't rate it as unpotent, just not as potent as the most potent I've grown. I've got a momma almost ready to take clones.
