Hi everyone hope your all well..
As the heading states "I've messed up big style"
I used to grow many years ago back in 90's and was quite successful at it, I haven't smoked for ages with having children and work commitments etc etc..
Unfortunately two years ago we lost both our teenage children in an accident while I was working overseas, since then we've emigrated and quite work to spend some valuable time.... Anyway I decided to grow a plant in their memory and even turned it to 12/12 on my son's birthday '16 july' 6 wks ago, the buds are looking absolutely fabulous. Nearly a week ago I accidently caught the timer (one with the press down notches) and it fell, not realising a 3 hr section of night time had been pressed in and the lights have been coming on for 3 hours during lights off, I've noticed today a little new growth at the bottom where I had lollipoped it (leaves with no serated edges) ... I'm guessing it has revegged? I've since recorrected the timer back to 12/12 as before.
Question is: will this plant be salvageable? I'm assuming if yes then I've probably added 2 to 3 weeks etc onto my total time as the Plant has to adjust again and secondly have I hermied it?

Thank you, The end.20220826_145542.jpg20220826_145708.jpg

This was a very hard post to read and Im beyond sorry for your loss. I think it's amazing that you are growing these plants in their honour, they would be proud.

As far as the lighting mishap, 3 weeks is a bit of a time for it to have a disturbed time schedule, it may cause some problems. I would just watch her and clip off any bananas if they appear.. I would continue the journey.

Thank you the mishap was 5 days in total, sorry probably the way I had written it.
I will be keeping a very close eye on it, the fact that no new veg growth is visible on the buds is one plus.... Thanks

It warms my heart to see there are some decent righteous people on this site! We're not supposed to outlive our children, my deepest condolences to you & your family and welcome Ruzz. Like everyone says,it'll be fine. If it hermies just pick out your seeds & enjoy your first harvest!

Thank you for your kind words ... And yes that sounds like a plan, I've been reading up loads the last 2 days while being in panic mode and I've read enough reports of people doing just that and still enjoying their fruit. Thanks again.

It should be fine...I have done the same thing before. It might set you back a week or so. I would cut off that new growth in the loli area.

She looks nice and frosty!

My condolences on your loss...That's a tough one! Glad you are finding new hobbies!
