So I have this Huge GG4 plant from which i sprouted from an immature (light tan colored) seed i found in a dispensary nug. Well it was a strain that smoked really good and now I have this huge bushy plant that is just not looking as lively and perky as she once did...ive never cut any clones as of her yet...still kinda learning how...but all its been gettin recently is PH water. What are some good mother plant nutes out there? And whats the best way to keep this mother looking her best?

Interesting. I had looked into mother plant nutes myself in the past. I have tried the Hydrodymanic Mother A/B before and was also looking for something dry instead.

Last I had looked I was eyeballing the NFTG OneShot but this might be worth looking into further. I otherwise use fish hydrolysate for my N bumps to keep a mom happy. As I've been using the NFTG line otherwise I'll occassionally mix up a little love potion for the moms to give them a a good dash of some NPK and Ca/Mg bumps periodically to keep them thriving otherwise.

Pretty much any grow formula should work, gaia has 4x4x4 and its organic so won't be too harsh, I use Gaia for my outdoor and it works well but is slow acting, no changes overnite kinda feed. Cyco has new 1 step line, 1 for grow 1 for flower, saves on messing up the ratios. Its called Cyco commercial and its around 100 for 750 grams. Haven't tried grow yet but flower formula is aces.

I feed my mothers a weak 1/4 strength solution until I know I need clones soon, then I jack up their nutrients and prune them, then they really take off and I have quality clones in a week or two. I also spray them every two weeks with silica/neem and on off weeks with fulvic/seaweed/chitosan---just to ward off any PM development-. I've never had it in my mothers before. I also spray them with aspirin water a day or two before taking the cuttings. I use age old grow to keep them going, then give them maxigrow when I want to clone.

That RAW stuff is ridiculous price wise. I don't care what scientist is marketing it. It's just repackaged salts. $50 for 2 pounds of calcium nitrate. Crazy ridiculous.

But as far as feeding mother plants they don't need anything special. Just a balanced feed to keep them healthy.

You can buy the same fertilizer from an agro market and different brand. For 1/3 the cost.

When buying bags of powder it works to shop around for the farmers version.

It's not that the stuff isn't good. It's the pricing is insane. All their stuff is like that. $10 for 2 oz's of potassium sulfate.

They have some scientist marketing their products and acting like it's something special. It isn't. It's the same stuff in other fertilizers they just are marketing it as some scientific breakthrough and selling it for 10 times the cost.

Add my Raw silica and fulvic acid and a little mollasses and lm a happy grower, silica toughens them up real good. Bugs dont bother them as bad, l believe it anyways.
