Mother Plants - Questions

Ive got a few questions about mother plants. Firstly, can i essentially use a mother plant forever? Just keep it under 24/0? And, can i grow it about 6 inches, cut 40% of it off and clone that? How long would it take to grow back?

Also, any other information you think is suitable. Cheers.

The short answer is yes! but why would you want too? you'd get sick of her taste eventually

the main problems with keeping a mom long term is the soil becomes toxic and needs flushing to maintain good health.
I'm not sure what you mean grow it about 6"? if you mean height, thats a bonsai mom and it needs special care. there are posts about those that explain it.

Oh yea? Got any links???, she will probably be bigger, but i will clone her about that time hopefully.
