Mother Question

Never had a mother, but im thinking of keeping one. she's going to be separate from my main grow area on her own lights. i want to use the cheapest solution to keep her alive so i was thinking CFL's. how many and what kind will i need to keep one mother alive in a closet?
any help is greatly appreciated.

How big is she, what strain etc.

Going to be white Widow...and currently is only a seedling...im planning ahead here ,lol
