Move from DWC to COCO.

Hi Everybody!
I'm Dr. Nick....
I have battled root rot from week two where my awesome plants started failing. I cut them back and treated with zone and pythoff everyday. My plants started flourishing but as I waited till they recovered they are getting too big for the tent. Also the rot is still there waiting to poke its ugly head. I need to start tying the trees down and cant do this with my setup as both plants are in one res and I have to pull it out every water change which is twice weekly to look after roots. I'm sick of it and want to start tying down so thought I might be able to move to big pots of coco perlite. I could just out the whole plant in netpot and all.
Do you think the rot will take over as the roots wont be sitting in a tub of sterile pythoff solution but in coco? I can still treat with pythoff with each water byt think it may get a hold in between waterings.
Maybe alternate between pythoff and cannazym every other watering?
Would love to hear your thoughts.
Also, my hesitations are so because the temp of the pots will be way higher than 68 which is what they are now in the res using ice bottles. The pots will get up to 90 on hot days I think.

No worries with transplanting man, they should be fine and you should have no root rot with coco/perlite. I veg in a DWC tote thing... and transplant to coco hempy buckets for flower. Just give them a good week to settle the roots into the coco before flowering. Also, I prefer to use bennies rather than zone/sterilizers... especially in coco.

To keep the slime and algae away in DWC I suggest using beneficial microbes along with non-chlorinated water, 5 gallon bucket insulated with 3 layers reflectix; this insulates the water keeping temps lower longer as well as ensures the root zone is 100% light proof. I used to swap a 1L bottle of ice once a day to keep temps under 70*. You also need plenty of air bubbles, 5.8ph, and balanced ppm.

If you can do that, you can do fine with DWC.

Thanks malevolence! I'm actually two weeks into 12/12 and am hoping most if the stretch is over. I guess now flower has started I should just ride it out. Im really worried that roots that have small signs of rot that go into coco that can then get up to 95 is probably not a good idea during flower. I think I could significantly reduce my yield.

Yea I think it has enzymes or something... the coco should be too dry/airy to hold root rot like submerging them in DWC does.

Some people say that Nutrilife H2O2 is very good to bring more oxigen to the roots... I use a very simple schedule.. RO water with Nutrilife H2O2 and CalMag, Dyna grow for veg and Dyna Bloom for flora.. just simple as that ;)
