The general rule of thumb I've seen is a photo will double to triple in size when you flip it so wait until it's a third of your tent high then flip, you can always LST etc to pull it down a bit and open up the canopy.

You can also train photos more than autos as they'll have the veg time to recover. If I was you I'd do 1 in the 5 gallon pot you can train well rather than have 2 smaller plants semi trained due to space restrictions.

I've only grown from seed so can't comment on the cutting aspect etc but good luck!

Are you getting the cutting just as is, or rooted? if not rooted you'll need to pick up a humidity dome or try to DIY it, the humidity needs to stay high inside because they have no roots they need to get all their moisture through their leaves. Plant em in a seed starter soil mix in something like a solo cup, get them under blue light (t5) or in your tent with the light up high and dimmed down, a heat pad underneath also helps the roots develop. Feed them water only, and open the dome once per day to exchange the air. When they have established a nice root system you can pop them in your 5 gal. Id hold off on feeding her for a few days so she can get used to her new pot, then start with low doses and work your way up.

1 plant in a 7 or ten gallon topped and trained is your best bet

thankyou everyone everything has been noted and the clones i believe are rooted but but thanks for the tip i will will look into that :) so there is not really a time scale when to flip its more just how much room you have for your plants i get it now thanks. i will probably go with the 1 photo in 7-10 gallon i will be using bio bizz light mix to start the clone in a solo cup then i will transplant into my 7-10 gallon pot after about 2-3 weeks in the solo cup if all looks well then maybe a feed or 2 in the 7-10 gallon pot then i guess she may be ready for the flip around then how does that sound nd if anyone wondering im going to use megacrop and sweet candy maybe molasses towards the end.
