Moving plant already directly in soil?

Gave friends relative a grandaddy purple ages ago, bloody things only recently started flowering and weather has changed considerably, plant will not survive long... The lovely lady isnt in a pot and is directly in soil, only thing i can think of is to dig it up... Its early-mid flower from what im told.. Is this even worth doing? Thanks for any advice!! and damn its good to be back here love thid website,

Did it last year for exactly the same reason. I was about three weeks from harvest; plants survived, but the buds didn’t really increase in size that much after moving.
If u do end up doing it, make sure to try and get most of the rootball
