Moving plants from DWC to Aero

Hey guys. Has anyone tried moving a plant that has been vegging in a DWC bubbler type res and putting it into a stinkbud style aero res? Would there be any serious adverse effects? Could there be?

I plan on doing this as part of my perpetual grow cycle, and im trying to think of a reason it might not work.

2 questions I have:

Would moving them from DWC to Aero cause any shock to the plant? Or would doing so breed any sort of algae, fungus or mold? If both answers are no, I'd say you're good. Can't think of any other reasons why it'd matter. Wish I knew the answer to either question tho to help ya out. Anybody else?
