Yup creeks can be too high traffic, found a grow by a creek few days ago.

But seriously where can I find that netting stuff? Didja get it at a hardware store? Farm supply? Wally world? Not to be intrusive just not familiar with that fine a plastic netting that can be purchased in bulk, and would love to find some many uses for it personally.

i got it at a hydro shop. they were selling it 7.50 for 5x15 pieces, and i said it really wasnt in my budget bc i needed quite a bit, and id rather go across the street to home depot and get 5x50 netting for 12.50(online price atleast). he knocked the price down to 4.50 so i was pretty happy with that. so home depot, lowes , hydro shops(always more pricey and dnt always bargain) similar places like that.

Im having the same problem I had last year with the critters.(I believe its chipmunks or squirrels) It started the same way last year, lower leaves star getting eaten. Only eating the healthiest leaves, but never touching the bud. They'll munch it all the way to the bud, often pulling the leaves down breaking the branch (as u can see my fix above). Then when the bottoms are cleared of healthy foliage, they progress to climbing the plant, and weighing down the tops and breaking those. I havent had this yet this year, and shouldnt as most of my plants are supported by trellising. I'll have to get a trail cam some year, to see exactly what it is

these are some scary lookin weird spiders me and my buddy came across, havent seen any like this in our area ever, or maybe Im just oblivius idk. any arachnimaniacs out there that are familiar with them? We came to the conclusion that the one with the bright gold ass, was the male, and the one with the egg sac was the female( obviously). But they were pretty close to eachother, and we believe they are the same species, just variances in the sex of them.
