multi strain scrog attempt

I have about Eight plants 7 different strains. I know, sketchy, I hope my genes are strong... but, my patients really want variety; and, I could use experience.

mawiwowi

king kong

donkey kong

bandanna kush

grape kush

durban poison

chernobyl

I've already taken one set of clones from these and plan to take another a couple weeks from now.

I have a fairly large set up if you look at it from square feet but height is a limiting factor my scrog is 23" from the ground. I will flower with a 1000whps+600wMH but, in the meantime they'll be under the 600w MH

I'm running each plant in an 5 gal bubble bucket and 8in net pot.

so thats most of the stats i'll update info as i feel necessary but, will get pictures of what I'm working with soon as I enjoy looking back at their progress.

it's been a project as basically the "room" didn't previously exist.

it's been a lot of work. And there's still a lot more work ahead; but, I couldn't be more pleased.

some up close shots of the lst beginning on these youngin's

4 out of the 8 have begun lst though the rest are a bit behind as they were sourced a week or so apart...

ahhh... and then we have the three weirdos that I transplanted from dirt, LOL. It's been a few days now. When I got them they were suffering from severe nitrogen deficiency. They look a bit better but, are in shock from all of the rough handling they endured going from dirty to hydro...

I've had a lot of growth since the last pictures. My stems have gotten a lot fatter thanks to some stress training.

How are you going to do the rez change outs when they are all latched in to the screen? Looks like a sweet variety of ladies. Kudos on the succesful soil-to-hydro transplant!

Is the screen attached to lids of each bucket? Do they lift out the same time you lift the screen? I have never done scrog before but was thinking of trying it the same way you have it my next grow. I would appreciate any more details about how you do the res change.

They look great so far! I will be tuned in to see how it goes. Good Luck!

The screen lifts off of the plants because they are growing under it not through it... For the time being. But, I can if I had to, just lift the bucket under the net and replace the bucket with a fresh one. The screen is more like a table, to answer your question.

Swag

its been a while since my last post. I've been updating on another forum but, I think I may just stay here for a while idk...

here's some pictures with the lights off and such...

about ready to switch to my second screen + additional lighting though currently I am running only my 600w hps.

My screen is 4x4 I will be running 4 girls / screen

so any thoughts, opinions, suggestions?

If you haven't flipped yet...your fucked

This is not soil and they are going to EXPLODE when you flip.

Don't forget to trim the living shit out of the bottoms. You should have already done it actually. Those small stems that originate near the base of the plant...get rid of them.

I love scrog and I'm running two large screens under 14 600's

Your going to want to connect those buckets to a central Rez or something bro..you ain't a gunna be able to get at those buckets when the start to flower and grow through the screen.

Each plant will also drink a shit ton of water so you need to top of often. My big plants will drink almost 2 gallons a day!...and you only have about 2 gallons of water in a 5 gallon full of roots
