Took a few pics, had a couple questions... Is the yellowing on the top new growth nute burn, or something else? I've only given them 1/6th a dose of big bloom tea, and they are like 3 weeks old. I was about to feed them 1/4 strength fox farm veg nutes, but don't want to roast them. Here are a few pics. The lankier one is the dinafem road runner, and the bushier one is Low ryder easyryder.

The plant looks a little yellow on the top. Usually this is normal. But your leaf tips are yellowing already, it could be a sign of ph issues or nute burn

Some random pics... They are staying VERY short, but they are bushing out like crazy. Some have like 10 nodes, but are only like 4 inches tall.

how many weeks are they supposed to take, start to finish? they should be some thick, heavy buds.

New growth yellowing on the top, sounds like leaf bleaching from keeping a 600w 8" away from the plants. Move the light up.

I'm guessing they generally take around 65-75 days. I honestly don't remeber when I started them. I'll probably just watch the trichome color.

Why is it so hard to accept that the obvious answer to "yellowing of new growth on the top" is that your 600w hps is only 8" from the top of the plants?

Not trying to be a dick, but I've been reading on these forums for years and have heard of plenty of people having them this close. I don't have much exp growing indoors, but I have done plenty outdoors. I've been a member of grasscity for almost 6 years.

Whatever. I give up on this site, 20 years of growing and I have never seen such horrible advice offered to people. We've got people here telling you to cook your plants, in another thread you have someone telling a newbie to do their gardening during the 12 off, in the other I saw people recommending growing only in worm castings. Do the senior growers here enjoy messing with the newbies?

This is not a site for serious growers, this is a site for children. I hope you all continue to enjoy it.

It's not just that it's yellow. The leaves are not developing right. Just because you say something doesn't make it absolute for one, and you don't need to freak out because I wanted a second opinion.

I think they are looking better since I've cut down on the waterings. I also setup the other dr100 (partially). Hope to have some plants and the other light going in the next few weeks. :D
