I'm not totally sure what to make of it either but I know he's rich and it sounds like he wants me dead because 'theirs to many people' and he said something about that's why they have global warming, so I guess we should be prepaired to eat people

This is kind of a weird thread and really a bit worrying.... of course murder/killing is wrong!!!! Any way you look at it, its wrong!!!... Even in defending your self murder should absolutely be the last resort... and it would still be wrong...

"Murder" and "killing" are not the same thing.
As Tolken from South Park said while referring to black people "Jesse Jackson is not the Emperor of black people!". I think that quote applies to Turners crazy ass and rich people. It's just one nut with a loud mouth and an opinion who happens to be wealthy.

What seperates the two? The state of mind of the perpetrator-Did he believe it was right or did he know it was wrong? Or a legal definition ? or the judgment of socitey?

Murder in the first degree is premeditated, killing someone could mean accidentally shotting them in the wrong spot while defending yourself against an attack. I wouldn't call that person a murderer, while someone who kidnapped someone, held them for ransom then executed them would definitely be considered a murderer.
You can kill animals, would you say that you're murdering them?
@ beardo, I think there are a few variables to consider when deciding if it's murder or not. Premeditation, intention, motive, etc.

I don't think I ever said or implied that this was my thread. Padawan said that I startrd the thread and I responded that I did not start the thread.
