damn. very interested to watch you breed this pheno.

what is the odor like with this plant?

do you think it still yields as much THC as a more prolific budder?

It has a low yield in weight terms,it is a small plant, but the quality, high and flavour are amazing.
This is a plant that you would only keep for yourself, this is a personal only type plant and no good for cash cropping at all,its way to small.

The odour is very strange and very strong,it kinda smells like candy if you rub a leaf with some trics on but then it seems like the smell sours up.
If i had to call the smell something specific i would call it sweet and sour fruit bubblegum.

Unfortunately i no longer have my best camera,i only have a 3mp camera now,so i cant take my usual hi-res macro shots but i will take some more pics this evening.
Thanks to all who had a look and commented:peace:bongsmilie

I will try to borrow a friends HD camera in the middle of December so i can show them off properly.

sorry, what i meant to ask is does it produce the same quantity of THC as a budding plant does. if you took your entire plant after harvest and put it through an ice-o-lator or something, would it still have as many trichs as a non-mutant plant you did the same thing to?

thanks. +rep

I would say that it has more trics per square inch than a normal plant, yes.
All though it has only a few actual buds the super dense leaf growth is absolutely covered in them.
Its hard to explain until you see it,the leaves are hard, thick, small and pointy and end up coverted in trics.
It also seems to be going a bit red/purpley.

Unfortunately the answer is also no because it is to small.
The only way to yield from this kind of plant would be to clone it and then create a SOG grow or veg it for a long time, longer than i have anyway.
I suppose though a 4 week veg time is fairly short so it is highly possible that with an 8 week veg time this plant could be a lot bigger but then it would cost you more in electric and time.

The quality and flavour and a very strong buzz is a definite reality and better than my other weeds have been so far so i am keeping it as i really liked the flavour and the high and for its intriguing nature and last but not least i hope to be able to breed some of its crispiness into my other hybrids in the future.

I will go and take a few shots of it now,i cant really be assed as i am wasted,lol:o:clap::weed:

Ok so here's some new pics.
Because i revegged it from a stump and because i cant remember when i started flowering it i am going to say that by looking at it is has another 5-6 weeks left of flowering at the most.
I will try to sort out a better camera soon, click on my sig link if you want to inspect the pics in a larger size:joint:

i8 had a certain pheno of kush that did pretty much the same thing with the slightest bit of stress but yours does sound more genetic. i got it down to being a deficency problem causing lockout . i believe in my case this mutation was a type clawing, the thc content was through the roof and it tasted like orange peel but hey ho i binned it as it would never be viable for commercial production. good luck with yours mate let us know how much smokeable material you get from each plant in what conditions etc

The red stems and leaves are not caused by cold temps or lockout, they are a trait from the original parents that i created a long time ago.
All phenos of this strain always exhibit red stems and leaves.

As i never sell weed,i wish i could though:-(,i am much more interested in the quality rather than the quantity, having said that though i am planning to try to hybridize this mutants genes into one of my large sativa/indica hybrids just to see what comes out.
I never grow only one strain so that i dont build up a tolerance so easily so yields are also less important.

So far in my exp the naturally smallest plants are usually the strongest not the runts but the plants that are small in their nature.
I have the plant under a 400 watt dual spectrum hps.
It is growing in an airbasket container filled with 70% potting soil from B&Q,30% perlite and 2 sachets of water crytsals which i mixed myself, there is no pump on or sponge in the airbasket just the holes in the basket to provide extra aeration to the soil and better drainage all around.

I feed them every 3-4 days with a minimal amount of liquid feed as stated on the bottle per litre of water.
My grow areas temps are controlled with an oil filled rad via a thermostatic control.

Here is a pic of one of the original mothers that i grew from seed on a 12/12 schedule all the way.
I created this original hybrid from a P.P.P. female and a BM male about 7-8 years ago, cant remember for sure:bigjoint:
Thanks for looking in,appreciate it:leaf:
This is the really sweet one.

And this one below is really sour, but same parents, and the new mutant that this thread is about seems to have both flavours mixed perfectly but the insane resin production and even more crystallization than the original sour pheno.

Found a way to take slightly better shots with this camera with the flash off and increasing the white balance and switching the auto focus off as well.
They still don't compare to my old cameras shots but they are a bit closer.

Trics are starting to form well now and will seemingly continue to do so right until the end.
I recently upped the flowering formula for this plant from 3ml per litre to 5 ml per litre and i am noticing slightly more hairs than last times flowering cycle all though i am not sure if this maybe because i have revegged this plant and then reflowered it once already before this.

Also this time it is sat right beneath a 400 watt hps and last time it was not directly under the lamp.
I consider this a bonus and will continue to feed it the slightly higher strength 5ml per litre.
Enjoy the pics, any comments or questions are welcome,as usual all pics can be viewed in a higher quality and size in my sig link below.:peace::joint:
