Could start topping or training, imo.

I would leave the leaves alone till its bushy enough to impede air circulation.

Appreciate the input. I have topped a few of the bud sites on each and FIM'd the top stem of the Purple Punch. Will post an update next week.

7/3 update-

The girls are getting thirsty! They are all in 3 gallon pots, and I was getting away with doing a 1/2 gallon watering every 3 or 4 days, now I am at about 3/4 of a gallon every other day and could probably step it up to a full gallon at this point.

Question- I'm starting to notice these little hairs all over and what I think are the early signs of flowering? See pics below...should I start giving them the Tiger Blood flowering nutes now?

I would wait on changing feed
They will pre-flower when they are ready for change
Appreciate the insight. The fox farm feeding schedule says to start adding the tiger bloom nutrients in week 5 and they are 6 weeks old.

Probably going to transplant them into their final 5 gallon pots this weekend as well.

Fox farms is looking to sell more product
When I used to use it I would cut dosage in half even outdoors

I'm sure you are getting root bound in threes

Yeah I've been cutting the dosages in half or even a quarter of the stated amount.

Getting root bound is my biggest fear....I need to get them in 5 gallons ASAP.

7/5 Update-

Today was a successful transplant day! I was able to get all 3 plants out of their 3 gallon pots and safely into new 6 gallon pots where they will remain until harvest.

I think they were getting close to being root bound in their old pots, I couldn't believe how many roots were circling in there. The roots totally smelled like bud when I pulled them out of the pots too, that was crazy!

Also, I mixed up the current Black Magic potting soil with some Black Magic Coco Coir to fill in the new pots, we'll see how this blend works. I'll probably hold off on feeding nutes while the plants get settled.

Throwing some bamboo stakes in for support this evening as well.

That's also for an indoor grow when you are controlling the lighting. I would continue with their week 4 veg-feed until you see pistils.

I also heard that FF bases their schedule on 1000w of light. You should reduce the % feed according to THAT, not just a random half-feed. Might be 1/4 or less that's good for you. Not sure how that factors into the outside thing.

7/11 Update-

The girls are doing great!

I noticed some evidence of spider mites so I doused the 3 of them in neem oil yesterday evening and then gave them a full watering this morning.

The plants did not appear phased by the neem oil at all, so I definitely apply again in a week or so.

Plants are going on their 2nd week of flowering I believe.

7/29 Update-

They just keep growing!!! The topping at an early stage seems to have paid off...all 3 clones have at least 2 main cola's with multiple offshoots. I expected the Blue Dream to be tall, but the SD x LK & Purple Punch have really bushed out.

The clones are just about 2 months old now and have been showing signs of flowering since roughly the beginning of July.

I've stopped feeding them the Fox Farm Grow Big and am only feeding them the Big Bloom & Tiger Bloom on a weekly basis.

Sprinkler system is all set up and giving them 1 gallon of water each morning.

I've been spraying Neem Oil and BT from Monterey to fight off the various bugs that can't resist our plants, but I would really like to stop applying soon so the buds will be nice and clean come harvest in September.

One bug that I can't seem to identify but I believe is munching on my leaves is this little F'er....anyone know what this is?

Damn! Exciting stuff! About to start an outside grow myself. How many hours of sun do you get roughly per day would you say?

I was getting about 8 hours direct sunlight but now thag we’re in fall it’s only maybe 6.

Getting close to harvest. Maybe the Purple Punch next week. Blue dream is maybe a week or 2 after that and the SD x LK is a month out.

Gonna be a later harvest than I anticipated!
