(my 1st grow)CFL Stealth Water Tank

Well this will be my first Grow that is suitable for every one to view....(As in not some Janky ass rig.) I Just found a huge Water tank, (cant tell for sure what it is) And I'm planning on doing a CFL Grow in there, The dimensions are about 2.5ft Diameter by 4ft tall, I am planning on Cutting the side of the Tank so as if there were a door, making 3 cuts... 1 top and bottom, and one on the right side conecting them leaving the left side still attached.. Then i plan to wrap it with a storage blanket( Packing Blanket Whatever..) and glue it on, but leave the area around the door unglued... I will be using 3-26w CFL's and 2-13w CFL's.... I already Made a Janky Little Rubbermaid single grow box and Currently have 1 very nice 3wk old Whiteberry(WhiteRhino x Hashberry) growing in my own secret soil blend... I do Have some questions though that id like to ask ..

1st
Do you think The Wattage is acceptable for that size "growcan"? (Cant really say "growbox" can I?) hahaha
2nd
Do you think it Would be possible to Grow 2 plants with LST in a spiral to maximize Yield..( ex. Spiraling up the Cylindrical Water Tank, with the CFL's In the center of the whole spiral)


I dont have any pictures or anything else at this moment seeing as its 12:00 here.. But i will update with pictures of the Grow area, and the plant as soon as possible...

killer light set up. you can just stick more in the sides as she grows taller...

you cant see in the pictures but there is also a hanging set...
1 42w and 2 14w hanging right over them. and thats adjustable by the yellow nylon rope...
you think that will work?

i think you'll be ok. just make sure to keep the lihgts as close as possible to the plants. no less than a few inches. i'm starting flowering tomorrow night too. i'll keep you posted...

word on the street is a week, give or take a couple days. we'll just have to see who sexes first out of my 5, i'm just hoping for 2 fem's.

Thats pretty cool man, I love the places you can grow weed

For sure man... and i think its going to workout pretty good as a permanent home for these plants and probobly for a while as i want to dedicate my first harvest to all personal use..... some thai sticks!, some hash, canna butter, brownies...
and of course the fine nuggets

you know what i just realized, i live at the beach and "borrowed" a beach trashcan for halloween, and it's still out in my backyard. it's the exact same one you have w/o the lid. i'm thinking i'm going to have to copy your water tank grow with a trasch barrel for my next grow possibly

yeah. i'm gonna line that bitch with mylar tho. and i'll just put my AG base in it. but i bet it'll be great.

i think the mylar would. i put it up around my grow recently and the reflected light seems to be helping the sides of the plant. the AG base is basically a suspended drip system. the roots hang into the res, and water is constantly poured over the roots. the light is detachable, so i could hang it AND do the side bulbs like you have. is the fan on to pushing air into the barrel or taking it out? what are your temps like in the barrel also?

yes fan is pushing air into the barrel..
temps are 66-78 roughly (they're outside so mabey sometime slight change due to season...)

and about the mylar... get this...
I used to work for a U-haul De-Imaging Company,(we made the older U-hauls look White so can sell them for profit) And we Made them white By Layinig an extremely reflective white Laminate on them... i have multiple rolls of the laminate laying around (ranging in size's as 36"roll-10"rolls) I also Have a Metalic Silver... Do you think this would be more sufficcient?

either would work. people talk about painting their grow rooms flat white, and then there's mylar which is generally silver. do some research and see which reflects better, but it sounds like you're set. about the temps, my buddy keeps his at 70-73 and gets GREAT results. mine are in the upper 70's-80 which i think is a little too hot, but due to space restraints, i can't really get good ventilation. oh well, 4 or 5 more weeks until harvest so i think i can stand it
