Well it could mean to much food or they need to be washed out. When that happens to me , a good washing out always works wonders. Hope it helps.

Yes leaving water in a unsealed vessel the lighter chemicals with evaporate within 24 hours. I have lots of buckets and pitchers lying around my house filled with water waiting to be used.

did you grow it on HPS all the way from seedling?... or did u use that floro I see in ur pics for most of the veg?..
anyways.. ur plant is looking nice.. u can speed up top cola production by relieving the plant of it's lower buds which will ammount to nothing anyways.. I don't mean remove a branch or anything, just pull off anything that looks as if it will just be shake/duff in the end... It will redistribute the growth to larger, more promising colas...
Also, you can trim those very low fan leaves that get no light..

hey man, looking good i see.and you have had problems. its great when your plant survives when you think omg shit don't die.av a look at my pics coz i've had problems and coming through it ok. still a few weeks left. i take it your a few weeks away to with the big one???

Dude, I read your journal, & looking really good! You obviously have a greenthumb. OHM makes some good points. Some people call the lower buds "sucker buds" cause they suck the plants energy away from the main cola. So you might want to pick them. He (Ohm) also mentions trimming some of the lower leaves, while that will improve airflow, and reduce the chance of mold. My concern is also about light penetration, and I don't think you have a problem with airflow.
So far as trimming leaves, that's a debate that will never end. Since you asked my opinion, here it is, I would trim some leaves, I found that the light was not penetrating as far down as I wanted, so I trimmed some (a few) of the upper leaves at 20 days from harvest, and again at 10 days from harvest.
Please remember it is much easier to not trim enough leaves, and come back tomorrow and trim some more leaves off, than it is to try to crazy-glue those suckers back into place, cause you've cut too many off.
Point is, don't go crazy. At 20 days from harvest, you arent going to hurt anything, and the increased (light) penetration may help.
