Checking in on day 28 of veg to see if anyone can confirm my suspicion that I have a male...View attachment 3562712 View attachment 3562713

Waiting for the autoflower to break the soil...
Was reading that while pre-flower growth looks similar in male and female, the shape of the pollen sac is generally round, while in females the part that sprouts calyx's are pointed. Interesting how these plants change as they grow...Very cool :)! Still hoping for females.

In other news, noticed the temp climbing in the tent... had to regulate...haha!! Switched orientation of lighting and ventilation to add A/C from the bonus room in the house...Win!

Seeing more of what appear to be pollen sacs on one plant... Still too soon to tell. Other plant has not shown sex yet, but will be shortly, still too small to tell.

Also, my lone autofem Jack Herertmp_25930-20151213_180558146568956.jpg tmp_25930-20151213_1908051823908883.jpg from greenhouse seeds is AMAZING. From germinating in paper towel to popping up in 48 hours... WOW. 18 hours in paper towels, and maybe a day and a half in the pot... very cool.

That's a male. Sorry.
Well I figured as much...just making sure before I kill it...the rapid growth, early showing of sex, and the fact that the new growth is on a stem and shaped like a spade did this plant in huh? Bummer, but that's how it goes when you're a noob and buy regular seeds...lol...good news is I have more autofems and a WW fem, too.

I still prefer regs to fems. This is part of the game. Plus if you ever need more seeds you can make them yourself.
