Hey there, just checkin on things.
Ive got my spores waiting to knock up some jars and some LCs already on progress. (which I highly recommend if you can swing it.)
Ive heard from many reputable sources that pop corn doesn't work as well as other spawn substrates. They say it's due to poor moisture and other shit I can't really recall at the time. But i don't have a pc yet so I can't really mess with grains properly yet. IMHO you should give rye grains a shot if you've got a pressure cooker.
dont forget to post pics! Ill be poppin my head in this thread. Happy growing!

Popcorn doesn't work as well as other grains for the moisture issue you mentioned and also the mycelium takes longer to colonize it if I am not mistaken.

Oh and a FYI you can steam sterilize grain but you need to do it for 8 hours.

Colonization takes about the same time, and can be accelerated using a bit of cornsteep, strawsteep or molasses in the water to begin with.

Corn is a bit on the under cooked side, consider cooking it a bit more next time, you will get larger yields and stronger 2nd and 3rd flushes.
