I think it is a helluva man that can take a tiny seed and grow it INDOORS, IN WATER!
He has to be intelligent! Just any fool can't do it.

Well, first off, very nice job so far. Plants look great.

Couple comments. As far as your root rot goes, I would say it's in the early stages and still very fixable. I add about 30 ml per gallon (so 180 ml for your whole res) of 3% hydrogen peroxide whenever I see the first sign of rot.

A Couple steps to prevention. Stop letting your water sit out. Any chlorine in the water will dissipate within about 30 min in your tank. If you can taste the chlorine in your water, go to a pet supply store and get some fish tank water adjustment drops for when your starting a new aquarium. That should take quick care of it. Stagnant water is no good... your letting it fill up with all kinds of mold and bacteria floating around in your house. pH adjust the water to 5.8 then put it in. Step two- More bubbles, add an extra airpump and airstone or three and your water temps will come down to the point where pythium (root rot) won't be a problem. If that doesn't bring the water temps down to about 65 then add frozen water bottles throughout the day till you can add enough air to the water or bring the ambient air temp closer to 65 continuesly which would keep your res temp a little cooler (with the added air).

Oh and your plants look a bit streched, you want those lights within a couple inches of your plant. You should be moving them everyday. Good luck Bro.

U sure its 180ml bro? The reason I ask is bc on the 8 step recovery thread it says not to add more than two full tsp per 6 gl res. I am having some root rot issues and this would be a big help

That's what I use. Although If I have a problem this grow I'll just bubble ozone through it. Heard that works wonders. I'll have to try it.

add 2 spoons full for maintenance, but add two teaspoons per gallon of water to repair or use as a remedy.

which is 10 ml, per gallon, which is 60 in your res... I do 180, but I switch it out the next day. I can honestly say I've never experianced any problem whatsoever using 180ml in my res. I've done it a couple times, and once I forgot to change it for three days, and still no sign of any problem. In fact, they almost looked better then when I switched nuted the next day. It is oxygen.......

I think 3% peroxide is as safe an additive as any made.

So I don't give bad advice and mess up someones grow, I always say 2 teaspoons per gallon of water as a remedy because it works for me that way just fine.
BUT
Ed Rosenthal says use 3 TABLESPOONS per gallon of water as a remedy.

That's still only half of what I recommend. Hey if less works, go with less. Why waste. I use 30ml solely for the reason that I used to use 30 ml per gallon when I'd water my soil plants when I grew outside. It didn't harm them so I tried it inside with hydro. Worked fine for me so I've been recommending it since.

I've always been fascinated by the study of oxygen and ozone with regards to healing the human body. Its an amazing gas. Ozone kills ALL detrimental pathogens, viruses, bacteria, and fungus. It's an amazing gas. I've been drinking ozonated water for the last six months or so, and I have never, ever been so healthy.

For over 30 years doctors in Germany have been experimenting with ozone with all kinds of unbelievable results. Curing cancer, aids, all kinds of infectious diseases. Seems like Humans in general are suffering from " oxygen deficiency". It's a pretty interesting philosophy if you can wrap your head around it. And considering the fact that we deal with oxygen directly relating to the health of our plants everyday. You seem like people who can understand the fact that it's pretty damn important to maintain health. 95% of the diseases prevalent in society today are anaerobic. Meaning, they cannot survive with oxygen. That includes cancer, and Aids.

Conspiracy theory, or just common sense... what do you think?

Thanks for the replies guys. The roots still look brownish but I'm thinking it might just be the flora micro staining the roots. In any case I'm gonna keep adding h202 everytime I do a drain and replenish.

c5, plants are looking sweet bro. good job
