LEDs that are sold as "1000w" typically actually only draw 150-250w from the wall. Basically what they are advertising is that their LED puts out as much light as 10 100w old fashioned incandescent light bulbs which is no way to rate a grow light but it gets people to buy them. A decent led board that actually runs 1000w will cost you over a thousand bucks. The better budget option is to pick up a used HPS ballast and hood and toss a new bulb in it. This is what a real 1000w grow looks like.
If i was running my 1000w HPS 12'' from the canopy..... well there wouldnt be a canopy because it would have caught fire and turned to ash.
All that being said, your plants look decent for a little led grow. Clipping the bad tips off the leaves isn't going to do you any good. Find a good dry amendment top dressing fertilizer at your local grow shop. Something for flowering or "bloom" with a ratio close to 2-8-4. The stuff I use is 18$ for a ten pound bag. I top dressed my girls at the start and middle of flower and only used 2.5 pounds each time. Thats literally all I do for nutrients and they are just about perfect.

Just took... few more weeks. Flushing has begun, 3 plants 19 shoots.. under 1 led light in a super small closet..

The difference is.. I don't have a halide, has led.. not as hot..

I have a sealed air cooled hood. The only heat my plants get is in the form of light waves. If your light was a true 1000 watts it would be cooking the ever living shit out of your plants at 12 inches.

Im not even sure what you are saying man. All I am saying is if you look at the specs of your light, it will say something like 180w power draw. Of if you plug it into a watt meter and get an actual watt reading, it will be somewhere around 180w. I didnt say you dont have proper ventilation. I am simply saying your light is not the 1000w light you think it is. I know my shit stinks and it actually stinks worse than most peoples.

My Chinese made 300 watt rated LED's draw an actual 150 watts, so they are not all created the same. Without knowing what lights he has, you guys are doing a whole lot of speculation...AND the op has said this is what he has to work with right now, so unless you want to send him a new light....You're probably wasting your ink!

I actually have plenty of equipment id be willing to sell for pennies on the dollar but thats not the point- one thing being an actual 1000w light, hood, and ballast. Most people are here to learn about and get better at growing. Multiple people are telling him his plants are behind. He is unwilling to even entertain the idea that his plants arent getting enough light because they are under a "1000w." We all just want to see everyone grow better weed. He takes any input as a personal attack. We all make mistakes and need to learn more. What you think this place is only to comment on how great everyones weed is? If I was growing weed that looked like his I would hope no one would tell me it looks amazing.

If the guy added a second LED like the one he has he would probably be growing some very nice kolas. If I had spent months, if not years, trying to learn to grow better and no one told me I didnt have enough light.... Something so fucking simple....... I would be really disappointed in this community.

for a hundred bucks id sent you a 600-1150w HPS ballast, air cooled HPS hood, 600w hortilux bulb used 6 weeks, and 1000w hortilux bulb used 10 weeks.

If you read the entire thread, he's already been told that several times. He knows he needs more light. He has stated he doesn't have any extra money right now.
But yes, you can pick up used equipment dirt cheap or even free. I have several used Hortilux 600 watt HPS bulbs I'd donate for FREE to the OP. Anyone got an extra ballast or hood, etc?

I'll say this again. . I don't have the space for a halide light.. I have a super small closet that's only 2 ft wide and maybe 4 feet long.. I really wish I could magically have more space and more lighting. . And I do really appreciate all of your advise. . I'm disabled and on ssdi. . I can't afford to buy another light.. wish I could.. I do wish you all the best who have provided me with super advise, I live off 936 a month, my rent takes up most of that. I'm sorry for all that I've offended, not my intention.
