it depends on the nutes
All nutrients are chemically the same...otherwise they wouldn't work.

Sure they've different grades of purity, etc but the snap, crackle, pop is caused by starches cos you probably dried too quickly.

It should be around 2 weeks before they're ready to go into jar, they're still alive when you chop them and will consume stored sugars...if they dry too fast the starches arnt consumed and voila! Rice Crispy buds.

Well put...
you aren't going to flush nutes out of a still growing plant...I mean unless you keep just watering till all the green washes out all the way to the buds, like when you overwater a new plant and the bottom leaves go all yellow and droopy, but all the way to the top...and that would take a long time, and I feel like the plant would die before the pale progressed too far up the plant...
Anyway you can't flush the nutes back out of the plant...I mean you can start a very slow exchange of nute water vs regular water within the plant...but the buds aren't giving up anything during this time...Nutrient movement is a slow process...

How can I correct this then?

right on....

This was the first time i used non-organic nutes, I used Advanced Nutes in combo with Heavy 16. I did burn the roots pretty bad too. My flush wasnt super thorough, so it must be that. Ive dried all my nugs before at this same rate and have never seen this crackle and sizzle before to ANY degree.

I STILL NEED TO KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS. PLEASE HELP! I have 1/2 lb of beautiful LSD kush here that needs your knowledge and advice.

GNOSH,

Sorry this happened to you as well. I am very happy to hear a bit of cure might help. Would you agree it was due to a poor flush?

Some folks on here are telling me its moisture still remaining in the buds, and that my drying time is too short. I live in socal and its pretty arid here, my usual drying time is 4-5 days, and never gotten this crackle and sizzle before. The buds are dry.

Seems like you have to do something to try to correct the situation. Options are limited. Maybe try to cure a couple of weeks in jars and see if it helps? If not the water cure may be a reasonable option.
