this is my first attempt at growing, using a dog house as my space. im using a 125 cfl, two flouro tubes at 15 watts each. i built it within 1.5 hours (the supports for the lights and ventilation) i know, i know aluminum sucks ass but im poor, but im going to go buy some mylar and a few more cfls today. im growing three babies from medical mids (yes im a patient :hump:) as a trial run before i get into the good stuff.

soil: supersoil potting mix
ph for water: 5-6
tds for water: 35 ppm
shit i got to go to work. any input would help

my bad guys, i only got 3 girls (big dreams!), the rest u see are various flowers that im growing for the landscaping im doing at the house. they will be gone after abit. i just picked up two 27 watt daylight cfls, and one 68 watt cfl and of course the mylar. i will install it today, MORE LIGHT! oh and here is some more info, the temps are at 80.6, and the light schedule is 18/6. in the pic above the plants are two weeks old exactly. i got foxfarm grow big and i want to know what is the best ratio of fert to water for the seedlings?? i got a gallon sprayer that i use to water them, so it would need to be fert amount to one gallon of water.

1/4 of what the bottle says for seedlings.

and good idea with the dog house........ but when you start to flower, are you going to be able to keep it pitch black in there?

here is the pics of the new lights. i also can get 2 175 watt MH lights but i need to get a better built greenhouse cause the heat. patience grasshopper:blsmoke:

yes, i plan on light proofing the house, i just needed to build something quick, and i knew that the seedlings needed lots of light so i did not worry at first on light proofing.

ok, i got the mylar up, much better.:hump: now what is the best type of pest control to use and what is the proper use of it? and when do i start counting the nodes, after the baby leaves or is that the first one??? i have to pick up a mogul socket before i can put in that 68 watt cfl that i have but i got all the other ones in. its bright as hell in that dog house dammit. oh and is the plant color ok? it seems a little light to me, kinda light green leaning towards yellow.

looks okay to me. Too early to tell at this stage but the color is nice. Just keep them cfls close to the plant and youll do fine. Today is adjustment day for me. Im excited.. NOT. I hate moving my lights around.. but you do what you gotta do lol

ok update, plants are at 4 1/2 weeks, growing nicely. what is the best way to order seeds and have them shipped without any hassle?? i dont think it would be good to have them delivered to my house.... and what is the best way to deal with garden pests?

Iim Thinking Youll Need Alot More Room If Iim Not Mistaken So...u Should Be Thinking Of A Next Step Setup...they Grow Fast

pretty interesting grow buddy:-) I use BC seedking and pay a lil extra for priority and get my seeds delivered to my PO. I get them in 4 business days with priority mail. and they give you 10 free BC mango with your order.

i got 2 feet of vertical space above the plants, the house was for a big dog.im going to do a bonsai grow so they will not get too big. but once i get the money i will buy one of those garden shacks and convert it into a grow room.

well i i got another cfl and now i rearanged all the lights. and i got a 4" oscillating fan that i can fit in the house. temps are at 76.5 with all the lights on. its now up to two 125w 6400k cfls, two 27w 5400k cfls, two 15w 18" flouros (the purple and bluish ones) all in a 21"X32" bottom footprint area. when the leaves start to curl up, is that heat damage? my bud plants are not doing that, but my landscape flowers are. i just want to make sure that i do not do that to my babies
