My Buds smell funny

Has this happened to any of you guys?
My first harvest ever is in jars curing and when i open the jars to let out a little air, i notice that the buds smell different than most bud i have smelled, but i have never grown my own. I can't describe the smell though, there is a little bit of the normal smell.
Is it something in my soil?
Nutes?
are they going to be ok?

me too my plant i just havested it smell fruity not like skunk i guess im ust to skunk smelling weed not the good dank shit!!! What you have is probley some pretty good stuff!!!

Different strains will have different odors and flavors after being dried and cured. It is common.

What strain are you growing?

My last grow smelled dank throughout flowering, and only got better during drying and curing.. Really fruity, skunky.. Instant redeye shit..

If it smells different than the bud the seeds came from that could be because the grower did not cure their harvest and possibly might not even have dried it properly. Proper drying and curing will bring out the best in bud and that of course includes odor and flavor besides maximum potency.

it's probably be
but i don't remember what the bag they came from smelled like, probably normal bud
