My DNA / Reserva Privada / Barneys Farm experience so far

Just wanted to drop a quick word on my experience with some DNA/RP/Barneys strains.

DNA
Lemon OG-Hermied. In its defense I will buy it again because it's dank as hell and a healthy yielder; a wonderful high as well. I'll account the hermy to holding a mom too long coupled with the plant stress of a first dwc run.
Training Day-Hermied heavily from a fem seed. Automatic disqualification. And it's a damn shame too because this thing had stalks made of ivory as well as a night time KO.

Reserva Privada
Sour Diesel- DID THIS COME FROM AMHERST? No. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mp8tpwgwTLs Actually agree with this guys review to the fullest, however I didn't get a hermy from the one seed I ran.
Skywalker OG- Top notch smoke- about everything you could ask for from an Indica. The only reason I will run this again is because month after month I become an expert of my former, and I'm going to run so well that I beast this bitch out next time. With that said if you leave your grow with a thing or two to be demanded expect nugs that reward, with measly plants that don't yield half of what the adjacent plants do.
Headband Not headband. But not terrible either. Epitome of average for yield and smoke. Will invest all that $ elsewhere.

Barneys
Pineapple chunk- Poor germination rate. Promises a 8/9 week indica dom womper, provides an 11 week sativa dom womper. As a result I fed to hot and stopped too early and was punished for reading labels and not my girl.
LSD- Hopefully I can cross this for a personal bank before all you scrubs buy it up and its quality diminishes

So this is my experience with Amsterdam's finest. I have no intention of buying most of these for a good while. It seems like a lot of people watch out for big promotions at Attitude or hop on what ever else everyone is talking about. I think I'll do the same and just find some good moms. That and mix two for a personal bank.

How does everyone else feel about these banks and their offerings?

Training Day

DNA: I tried their OG Skunk--it was not too bad, but not what I was looking for. OK taste and yield, just not great.

DNA: I also tried their pure afghan--that entire grow was a fail; all plants grew around 2oz of some of the shittiest flowers I've seen in a long time.

Reserva Privada: tried their Sour Kush--4/5 hermied and the other was a straight up fail plant.

A side note, since you mentioned Amherst: a freebie of Amherst Sour Diesel turned out pretty fail--fluffy buds with hardly and trichomes or smell.

everything i ran from dna was dank..i.think it was the lemon skunk(im stoned so i may be wrong) was my only dissapointment but that was because of yeild...

I'm growing my first strain with DNA/RP right now. I got a Kosher Tangie freebie and it's several weeks in veg at the moment, so far so good. I've also grown about a dozen different strains from Attitude and have had mostly good luck, with the exception of Greenhouse Seeds. Mr Nice and World of Seeds are two favorites of mine, top notch quality with them.

Thanks for the input Vib. I'm definitely going to get away from the big names next time and I think this forum will give me the best leads of what to try. Attitude seems legit; I feel like they have big sales for some hidden gems that haven't sold enough to earn the rapport they deserve.
