That is a pretty sweet set up you got on the airstones.
As for the air pumps you are supposed to run them 24/7.

Good luck on ur DWC:eyesmoke:

so run the air pump for 24/7.don't you think that would be a little to much for seedling?? how about nutes should i use a lite nute mix or use just tap water???

hey amigo, may i reccomend a much larger tub? im not sure what kind of light youre using, but other than the cost of nutrients there is really no downside to using a larger one, and you will not have problems with the temperature of your reservoir creeping up over time. Once it gets over 72 farenheit the water doesnt hold oxygen very well, and bacteria of the anaerobic variety start to thrive. Believe me, this is no joke my entire 18 site grow op is in jeapardy due to this. Also, definitely run the pumps 24/7, its not an option to run them less. Good luck. By the way, if your having problems growing in soil you should try 1 part sphagnum peat moss, 1 part vermiculite, 1 part perlite with some miracle gro moisutre control soil (mostly just sphagnum peat with little bubbles added in) also. Its really much easier than hydro, just takes us more space. although i like my hydro setup, its one headache after another till you get some experience under your belt. Just food for thought. Good luck.

Rubbermaid 10 gal totes that are shorter than most (avail at Target) are the best I have found for 3 plant per lid systems. Enough nutes to keep them going for a few days but not so much water it's like you're waiting for a fire to break out. Also helps to have a low profile tub if the plants are tall. Keep that air stoner unning 24/7 and no nutes on the babies until they hit the 10 day mark. Water level should be at the bottom of the net cups but not touching so as to drown the roots. Once the roots are visible at the openings you can let the level back down a touch. Air stones raise Ph in my experience when you change the water so keep a vigilante eye on the levels when you swap out or add water. Also keep the RH up on the seedlings, they need the air moisture since no roots, thats about all I have to offer at the moment. Bubble boxes are NOT FORGIVING! if there is a problem your plants wil suffer WAY quicker than with soil...keep ur shit wired tight and grow some fat nuggs, keep us posted!
