That could be that the nitrogen is too high...someone told me that the very bottom leaves are like dumpsters for the plant, if it has too much of something or something it doesn't want it moves it to those lower leaves, my plant all have the same thing.hmm m lower leafs are begaining o fade a lil yellow...i thing its just stress from the addition of lights on them but im going to wait a day or two to be sure if its not that im going to tinker with my fertilizer because it could also be nute burn
Thats sort of the right idea, but your mixed up a little bit. The plant uses mobile and immobile elements. Nitrogen is mobile, so when the plant is running low on nitrogen, it starts with the oldest, lowest leaves first, sucks the nitrogen out of that, and moves it to the top of the plant where it can continue new growth receiving the most light. If your having yellowing at the bottom, its time to feed it nitrogen. That could be that the nitrogen is too high...someone told me that the very bottom leaves are like dumpsters for the plant, if it has too much of something or something it doesn't want it moves it to those lower leaves, my plant all have the same thing.
cfls are not only good for clones and seedlings- you obviously never done a grow with just cflsyes a hps will help now. yes you can veg with an hps, i do and i my internodal growth is very tight. an hps is good for both veg and flower they are more efficient and have much better light penetration than cfls. imo cfls are only good for seedlings and clones.
