My first ever grow , need advice and help

I have already started growing 2 plants outside there only 5cm at the moment , was going to grow out bush but decided to try inside , my cup board is 1.5m wide by .5 m deep by 2 metered high, my idea was covering the inside with foil and the stinging 4 cfls from the roof and then Having a resovoir with a pump on a timer feeding just 2 plants in a growing medium on top and it will just feed them and then drain into the bottom etc, just curious , what side pots should I use for each plant, what growing medium, what do you use for liquid to water them .... How many watt lights ? And how many , was thinking 4 for the 2 plants , will I need ventilation, will this stink my house out?

cfl's come in different wattages bro i'd say at least 100w per plant at a minimum.. personally if I was doing a cfl with two plants i'd buy two 200w dual spectrum cfl with possibly some lower wattage supplemental side lighting cfls. the big cfl's also come in 300w. are u Australian? when the indoor plants get bigger you could take some clones off the bottom of the plant somewhere and stick them in the bush later is another idea. you could also look into 'hempy' style, basically a bucket with a small hole couple inches from the bottom filled with perlite or perlite/vermiculite with the nutrients simply poured into the reservoir at the bottom. yes it will stink the house, just get some a carbon filter off ebay or something with a suitable fan blowing it in the roof/outside, whatever and then u will need fresh air in so another fan and some ducting.

Yea in qld, sounds good for lighting and with the actual growing I was thinking on the cheap so have a table say 40vm high that is a tray the whole width of the cupboard and be how ever deep and have 1 or 2 drain holes going into a 20l resovoir of fluid that gets pumped into the tray 3 times a day threw an aquarium pump, what do you use as the fake soil , what additives do you use, and what do you use for the nutrient water and how much do you think I'll need for 2 plants

I have to say in my opinion you should a) ditch the indoor idea because it's summer soon and it will be better to b) leave the plants outside under the sun because it's free and 100x better than cfl's and then take 20 clones off the best girl plant c) find some lovely qld remote bush, theres heaps your lucky . I have only done deep water culture and the hempy style that I spoke of above. and now, soil, outdoor

Yea I'll probably do a bush grow i just wanted to try 1 indoor grow with 2 plants just once as some fun

yeah go for it then mate, thats just me . i started indoor late summer and swore i'd never grow inside those few months again. but that was with hid lights though
