So, I bought all from a garden store. So, I didn't get them from seed. And week is going by how long I've had them in the ground. The Copea ones are not doing well. He had like 4 plants in 1 pot, and I had to seperate them(like he instructed) and the copea's went into shock(or atleast i think this is shock). Bit worried they won't make it, but atleast my Gilberts are just popping with color.

In the future when buying plants go for 1 plant per pot or cell in a multi-cell pack. When transplanting I usually water in the transplant with some vitamin B1 and fish emulsion. It's worked well for me.
hth,

Yeah, It was cheaper... But over all the guy is pricey as fuck. Can i say that word here? I know some forums do ask that people watch there language. Anyways, a bag of some specialty compost bag costed me $16. It has tree bark in it? Idk if that actually has any use as I've never heard of any other compost that has that. So, I went to http://www.urbansunshine.com/ because they have an actual shop down the street finally instead of just online. They have a bag that is of same value of compost for $10. It's actually a big brand name too... So, even though the one guy is straight organics. He's way over priced, so im just gonna start shopping at Urban Sunshine. Plus they sell their plants as singles, not bunched up in one pot.

I have had the same problem you have with your Copeas before. Being in the same pot, some of the roots were probably damaged in transplanting. Mine came out of it after about a week. Yours probably will too. Good luck with them. I just got mine in the ground finally a couple days ago.

Yeah, I got another one that's gonna die. :( It's a shame but atleast I got 2 survivors. May only get one. Due to the other 2 looking really bad. But if they make it they do. If they don't. Atleast now I know.

I hate when they have multiple plants in one pot. The nursery I go to is pretty good, but they do that with some plants. All of the melons I bought were 2 to a pot, 3 for the watermelons...I put each into its own pot in partial sun to allow for some recovery time.

Next year, I'm going 100% from seed.

^I want to try seed next year, but I don't know. I'm considering re-locating. I sadly don't know how that'll work either. :/ I'm looking at moving out to California, because FL just won't budge on the medical marijuana laws yet. Idk if it'd be worth it to do all the work to move them. But, Next grow season doesn't start till... Feb for seed, right? I'm in florida.

Well if the tomatoes start to die back they will probly start to die back from the tip, if this is the case you can clip the tips of the dead ones and side shoots will quickly grow back just like a mj plant. Just a little info for you if you dont want to start over. and the end product will be even better cause you will have multiple tips producing tomatoes ( JUST LIKE A MAJ PLANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL) But yea alot of people do it on youtube and ive done it my self. Yea i was a garden fenatic for the longest time lol. Also they look a bit over watered but idk cause im not there but just my knowledge of gardening

I love my California weather for gardening...come on out.

As far as seed growing goes, I'm not an indoor anything grower, so Feb is a bit early for me. I started in March and had good results. Now if you were to start indoors, sure Feb would be perfect.

It's turning out nice. They're a little too bunched up, and thursday im getting more stakes so i can start tying them to the stakes.

2 Copia's left. And the neighbor's dog stepped on one, Right after the picture. So, I don't think these guys are gonna make it to much longer.

I finally got around to tying of one of the plants. I still need to get stakes for the other 4.

So, I'm starting to get some yellow leafs with burn't tips. Also yellowing leaves that are curling. I only see 2 that are barley yellow and curling, and maybe 4 with yellow and burnt tips.

You're doing great, don't stress! It's good that you are paying attention, you will learn and become better each grow.

I always plant 2 seeds per starter pot, each on the opposing ends of the long side of the vessel. When transplanting, I slowly and consciously separate the root mass/soil in half, place each plant in a pre-dug hole, and gently add soil until it's just under the first set of leaves. Pat firm, but not overly so. Water thoroughly. Works for me with great success rates.

Feel free to send the plants some love, they really do enjoy your attention! ;)
