awesome grow man! i was curious about your 200w cfl its selfbalast correct? what kind of timer are you using with it? i ask because ive heard over and over again these cfls can be quickly burnt out when hooked up to a timer.

Right now im running the light on 24/7 with No timer, Yes it is selfbalast, The light says it should last 10,000 hours and has a 1 year warranty :)

I keep the fertilizer moist, i water then like every 8-9 hours. so far so good.

looking great man i just picked up a 250w cfl today for my cabinet hopefully look as good as yours

those are looking amazing man! very nice work! instead of the foil you could always use a emergency blanket, mylar, or just flat white paint.

Those are some of the healthiest plants ive seen, good job on your grow so far!
I would like for you to consider raising the light a few inches so you can start to separate
the plants and put a few inches in between so the light can penetrate better once flowering
starts. The other point is to remove the lower leaves and bud sites for better airflow and less
energy used by the plant for bud we really dont care for. You can clone the lower branches if you
dont want to just trash them. Anyways just some advice good luck buddie im subscribed:)

So this week i transplanted them. Got some bigger pots and new organic soil.
-2.5 Gallon Plastic pots
-Happy Frog Organic Soil,

Ive been seeing new lighter leaves and some brown spots, i touched them and it felt burnt.
I don't think my last soil had enough of the Nutrients that they needed. Like i needed more fertilizer nitrogen or some thing probably.
But now they seem to be doing better, the leaves are beginning to darken up again.

Ive been doing 24 / 7 Lights on, When will i know to start flowering exactly? I see alot of hairs coming out every where, i thought i would give it till Friday then start flowering but im not sure.

Here are some pictures i took today.

Hey I was wondering what the Kelvin rating that bulb is?

There is a shop around here that has one but it is a 6500K. If I can get away with using it for flowering I'll grab it, but they have the 125w 2700K bulbs. I wasn't sure which one I should get. I would like to get the 200w, but dude said they don't make them in 2700k. Thanks

hey kronic for veg its 6500k and for flower 2700k and seeing i own 1 of each and they are 250w cfls im going to go and say with confidence that the manufacture 250w 2700k cfls. i am using them in my cabinet at the moment and they are killer! but if you can only get 125w 2700k around where you are and you dont want to order any then i would suggest using 2 of them.

Oh yea, I'm saying that the guy told me they do not make 200w 2700K. He has a 200w 6500k though.

Another thing is that the 105w or 125w is 2700k, but he said I'll need the light hood with self ballast because they will blow out really fast with out them, but he was kinda mumbling something too. The bulb does have a self ballast. And as I've read on many other forums peoples 105w/125w were blowing very soon after sticking them in a normal socket. Now this hood doesn't hold 2 bulbs. I cannot really use 2 of them for the reason stated above. Just looking at my options.

Now with the hood and light it runs about $140 out the door.

If they do make the 200w 2700k, can you point me in the right direction to maybe a website or whatnot?

Hey,
sorry i havent posted in a long time, but here is whats going on now.

Same stuff as before, I used the exact same light for flowering.
200 W 6500K CFL.
Been doing 12on/12off lighting.
All i have been using is miracle grow lol.

But its turning out really good i think, here are some pictures. let me know whats you think i guess.

i have not really groomed it at all, i just cut off w/e is dead from the light not reaching it at the bottom.

From the 5 that i had, i took 2 and put them under a 600 watt HPS , i wanted to see the difference in growth.

So far they kinda look the same, the ones under the HPS are alot stickyer lol, i can like see the sap on every bud, when i was trimming my scissors, they were getting stuck together like glue.

I cant wait till there done.

Here are a few pictures, not my best. sorry haha.
