Also, males have to develop some as well before pollen sacks will open. Males are actually very beautiful in their own right. Basically, if you don't notice the male for a few days, no worries at all. You would still have plenty of time to get them out of there. If he is a good strain, you could perhaps put him somewhere else and harvest pollen for your own seed stock. Though, not many dabble in that, me included.
It is an interesting fact that pollen can be applied to a single branch of your crop, or a few of them, and only these would produce seed, not the entire plant. So, you could flag a branch, or plant as seed bearing, while maintaining the rest of the crop as sensimillia.

, you can start to see where you need to reposition to take advantage of light. The 250w won't penetrate very far into the canopy at all, so try to level out your tops as much as possible and lower your reflector as low as you can get it. Mine is about 5-8 inches above my canopy, so you can get it pretty close as long as you have fan blowing across.
