My first grow and first DIY grow room (all LED)

Hey folks,

I was growing in a camping tent but the curved canopy and limited light movement was causing me troubles so decided to make setup.

Equipment used;

PVC pipes.
Plastic sheets.
Zip ties.
Staples.
Reflective sunscreen.

Lights;

CFLs
SMD LED Floods
COB

Still have to install an exhaust system.

Attached are both my old setup and current one.

Make sure to get your reflective stuff set up inside your new tent

They look really good, I have used those pots through to finish in micro grow they work well they keep the plants shorter, Its looking good they are loving that light. Your build looks great :mrgreen:

YAY somebody likes my setup! Your comment means a lot since I hand built the grow room plus since its me first grow im learning on the job.

Technical question;

With about a total of 500w of mixed led (cfl,cob,cree-flood) how much yield can I expect from 5 plants? The ones in the new grow setup are three plants, the other two are in camp getting their personal light cuz it got crowded in there.

So basically, if I flip them for 12/12 at the current height seen in new grow room, how much should I expect in yield if all goes well? Danke in advance! Cheers

My guess with 18" grow height 2+ oz per plant as you know Its dependent on many things working together, your setup is good your lights are good your mix is good,. Patience is the most important element your there keep doing it.. :mrgreen:

That's a great motivation for me! My target is 200 grams from 5 plants but I'd be content with 150 even since its my first time. Thank you for your feedback! Much appreciated :hump:

I think you will get that easy. Keep the lights as close as possible to minimise stretching :leaf:

Currently running;

Skunk # 1 x 2
Pineapple Chunk x 2
LSD x 1

All from Barneys, feminised.

I've germinated 4 more seeds yesterday;

Critical Kush Auto x 2
Skunk # 1 x 2

Hoping by the time the top5 are done these 4 can replace them

I think you can expect more than 200 gs from the 5 . I just pulled almost 360 from 2 plants under t5 lights with supplemental leds.
They were autos.. your setup looks nice!

Hello everyone I'm new to the forums and wanted some insight with my build plan I have two spaces one 8x8 flower room and 8x6 veg room
I have 11 foot ceiling. Using cxb3590 20 4K cobs and 4 5k cobs and for the flower room 20 3k cobs and 10 3500k cobs. I'm in need of help choosing between mean well 320-2100 or 240-1400 drivers. Any help would be great and if anyone knows if with setup I can maybe get 64% efficient

Maybe you should ask the above question in a new thread?
You'll probably get faster answers.
You have 11ft ceilings so you could grow trees lol
CXB'S won't get the efficiency numbers of 64% at 2100ma or 1400ma though.
CXB 3590 3500K CD bin at 1400ma at 50oC is 56.34% efficient - ish.
You'd need to run them at around 700ma to achieve 64% efficiency.
You need 25 watts per Sq Ft for veg.
Around 50 watt per Sq Ft for flowering.
