So iv been growing for a month now and things are going great. Its a simple lower cost grow with flourecents ( CFLs soon to come )
I made the grow box outa metal to hang the lights and made attachments to make the lights go very low to the plants you could do this outa wood cuz im sure not every one has a mig welder in there garage
im using two shop lights for now 40watt cool whites 4 tubs total
i have a 2 fan ventilation system u can see in the pics theres a fan blowing air in to the closet and a fan blowing air out on top of my box
my soil mix is
60% potting soil
15% perlite
10% building sand
10% worm castings
5% Pre mix 12-6-6 ORGANIC
I cheaped out on ferts i got 3 tubs of this cheap plant food which il show to you in the pics 1 for clones one for veging and one for flowering no chemicals to
Also i was wondering if sombody could give me a tip on how to keep smell down i have three plants and there smelling up the whole house
they are a mostly indica by Willyjack seeds : FireFly
I hope this is usful to anybody thinking about growing in the near future il keep u guys updated on how things are doing and to all the pros out there leme know wat u think not to bad for a low cost Op ?thanks. i think i paid about 150$ for every thing not including seeds
