My first grow

Alright I have a question, has anyone ever experimented with shorter light cycles during flowering like 10/14 or 8/16? If so what differences did you notice. Please don't post on here, that I should use 12/12 I am aware that is the norm thus the word experimented.

Alright so I changed the way that I refer to my plants as I added a new strain to my grow room...my Northern Lights "purple" plant is now just "NLP" all the rest follow suit. So here are the heights and T.D. (total days) from started, for clones that is the day I took the clone from the mother then I have D.O.G (Days of growth) that is either when the seed broke soil or when the clone actually rooted and was moved to a pot.

NLP - T.D. 109 - D.O.G. 105 - HT 40" Topped twice
NLB - T.D. 109 - D.O.G. 105 - HT 30"
NLG - T.D. 109 - D.O.G. 102 - HT 27 3/4"
NLGA -T.D. 053 - D.O.G. 047 - HT 19"
NLGB -T.D. 053 - D.O.G. 044 - HT 20 1/4"
NLGC -T.D. 053 - D.O.G. 044 - HT 15 1/2"
NLGD -T.D. 053 - D.O.G. 040 - HT 23"
NLGE -T.D. 053 - D.O.G. 040 - HT 20"
NLGF -T.D. 053 - D.O.G. 040 - HT 21 1/2"
NLPA -T.D. 038 - D.O.G. 032 - HT 27"
NLPB -T.D. 038 - D.O.G. 031 - HT 17 3/4"
NLPC -T.D. 038 - D.O.G. 026 - HT 16 1/2"

Well you would use two plates (not paper) one on top and one on bottom to keep the moisture in. Also use hyponex soil at your own risk I have used it before and it was good but last time I got it, it had mostly clay in it and I ended up having to transplant to a different soil (Sta-Green Flower and Vegetable). Also I have never used Dixie cups the closest I got to that was placing the sprouted seed in a jiffy pellet and putting the jiffy pellet in a small class with plastic wrap on top for a mini green house effect, it worked pretty good but the last seed I germinated I just put it in a jiffy pellet and put the jiffy pellet in my cloning chamber. After roots show out of the bottom of the jiffy pellet I put it in a six inch pot and then move up as needed. Hopefully that helps you out some but keep in mind that at this point I am just finishing my first grows flowering cycle and getting ready to start my second grows flowering cycle so I don't have a lot of experience but I don't mind questions.

Alright so I got really lazy about this thing but the end result was 3 oz not what I was hoping for but I guess for a first time it wasn't too bad. Also that was about a month and a half ago.
The End
