20g of crushed leaves.

Dust that fell thru the silk screen.

Scrap it in to a pile.

Tomorrow I post how to cock and press it. It's very easy.

This weekend I'll put up more Mylar. I won't have to raise the light to work in there now.

There is nothing to say! :bigjoint:

Can't wait! they are starting to fill in!!!!!

:peace:

I'm getting worried about height. I'm not sure how much more they will grow. Some days they grow 2". I only have about 20" more room to raise the light then I can change the mounting and get 7" more. That might only get me two to three more weeks. If that happes I may have to cut the tops down.

I'm wondering what would happen if I top them now?

Sounds like risky business :-| but im a growing newb... i heave read quite a bit and watched a fair share of videos though, none have covered topping plants though and my friend is telling me that SOG is when you top the plants and manipulate their growth and then let more nodes grow and top them aswell so taht you end up with more of a bushy like plant with more bud sites.

My question is have you ever heard of or read anything about this? i am very interested considering my limited space, any info is highly appreciated :bigjoint:

Yell in the GrowFAQ look under topping and FIM. I just not sure I can pull it off this far into flower. I think it should work. If they slow down their reach for the sky I may be OK. I just feel all wrong about cut off the top but if I run out of room it will be that or an early harvest. The worst that can happen is I'll have to do it and the the shock kills them. At that point it's an early harvest.

The best that will happen I cut off the best few buds the thing splits to two tops and I get to new bud sections as good as the one I cut off just smaller.

They I could try to clone the top part if it roots finish flowering and no loss at all. But I will probably just dry it and smoke up. (Preview of whats to come.)

What if you started to LST the tops? If you have them tied to a stake you can manipulate the tops like a CFL swirl. I don't know if you see what im thinking but in my head its tight and would work! :joint:

Genius, I'll try it first. Like a topiary. It will be like a Disney artsy fartsy plant thing. I think I'll shape it like a cork screw.

Nice looking grow! How far along are you? From the pics 20" should be enough clearance, I definitely wouldn't top them at this stage.
Good luck,

Dont top them my freind, these plants are going to stop their vetical growth within the next couple of days. Naturally that is, most plants cease vertical growth after the first 3-4 weeks of flowering, and if im not mistaken you are coming around 4 weeks into flowering. Give it a few days, if vertical growth is still undesirable then lst somehow. DO NOT top them though, topping needs to be performed way earlyer in growth then now, but if you LST try to be very gentle, as now that you are in flowering the stems are very strong and tought, so they can snap more than if they were gooey. Anyways hope this helps. Nice grow man.

Thanks bikeskill, StealthPanda, crackbaby, B. THC R+D, blazin waffles, and Dr Shakalu. I had no idea this many people even looked at my grow journal.

To all, it looks like #3, that I thought was out growing the room was mis-measured. It was in the back but now it's in the front where it is easy to measure.

From my research I have learned this is just one last growth spurt and things are already settling in. I checked the cabinet top, if I change it a little I will be able to raise the main light about 30".

Todays heights (measured correctly):
1) 42.13"
3) 46.13"
5) 41.88"

I'll add pics later. I still have to check my clones, update my Excel log, download pics, delete personal info off photos, and oh chat with my wife.
