Yeah she's very hungry, showing signs of nitrogen deficiency by the yellowing leaves and zinc/sulfur def. based on the purple leaf stems and stunted growth. Also remember flowering does not begin as soon as you switch to 12/12, it usually takes 1-2 weeks after the switch before the plant starts developing flowers, sometimes longer. She looks like she's only about 2 weeks in.

I remember seeing a breeder address the question on when they start counting the flowering days, and they said as soon as they flip to 12/12 they start counting. Not that it matters much though. I honestly don't even look at the days, just how swelled the calyxes are, and I just eyeball the trichs without a scope. Yes you can do that.

i was just gonna ask this. i started counting mine when i saw the first preflower.

thats better for me then, becuase it really means im a week ahead compared to the suggested flowering time!!

Only when the plants are mature enough and already have preflowers and alternating nodes. Otherwise the plant is still technically in the seedling stage.

Just watch your plants. The calyxes should start to swell up, and actually start getting pretty hard.

Thanks for all the help guys.I did notice she is root bound to.Thought i could get by with a 1.5gal pot.Know the question is should i even try to re-pot?To be more clear she is going into the 5th flowering week.Im using six 3ft full spectrum florescent tubes from the top and two red and blue spectrum leds from the sides 12/12 light cycle in a 2x4x6 grow tent.Temps 74F-85F.Humidity i cant seem to keep it above 26% need a new humidifier.I used Alaskan fish fertilizer during veg. but sparingly was afraid i would burn it.I know know i could use more than i did.I did give her a little Tiger Bloom at 2% nitrogen today. Had to order the Grow Big.Think im going to try the re-pot.the odds would be more in my favor i think.Tell you what i have enjoyed growing this plant shes one of three from bag seed. She had two brothers.Started with bag seed to see if i even had one ounce of green in my thumb:-D.Anyone have any feedback on yeast and sugar homemade CO2 generators?Thank you all agian for your help and for not making me feel dumb for being new at this.

you can make a root bound plant huge, you just gotta feed it a lot becuase it eats up the nutes realll fast.

i would say once a week with a 1-2-2 organic feed

biobizz bloom biothrive boom etc
