3 Bubblicious Fem (Regular not auto)
Soil- FF Ocean Forest
Vegging under 4 bulb HO T5's (18/6)
Will flower under 400W HPS
Nutes- FF Grow Big for Veg, Tiger Bloom for flower

Successfully started my seeds on 10/17 in small cups of FFOF, transplanted to 3.5 gal pots on 10/25 with a very light feeding (2 tsp./1 gal.) at transplant. Watering with tap water that has been sitting out for at least 24 hours when needed, soil dry and pots feel lighter. Fed them again yesterday (same dose as before) and noticed, after feeding, one of the plants has 2 leaves with slightly yellow tips (thats the problem). All 3 plants look good and healthy to me except for the yellow tips on the one. The heights, as of today are 6.5", 5" and 4.5". The plant with the yellow tips is the 4.5" runt.
Any thoughts on the cause of the yellow tips on just one of the 3 plants? Everything has been the same and equal on all three from the start.
I will try to post pics as soon as I figure out how to post them.

nute burn, you really shouldn't give any nutes for at least 3 week of veg, the seedling itself carries nutes to last 12 days and the soil is plenty nutrient rich. next time you feed give it only 1/4 strength.

and FFOF is a very hard soil for seedlings. i would try a regular potting mix low nutes. they will bounce back. save your FFOF for more mature plants that can handle the nutes. and dont add any nutes until you see slowing of the growht then give them a 1/6 strength nute mix high in N. work your way up slowly till you reach 1/2 strength

Thanks for the replys, I thought it may be a problem with the nutes. Got the pics posted....how do they look, otherwise?

your plants look fine right now, get them into weaker soil ASAP though, you can risk fucking up roots/ your plant in FFOF.

FFOF is amazing soil for more mature plants though so save it.

flushing does help. and i've never had any problems with using ocean forest from the start. i'm using the fox farm set up, you just have to be careful with big bloom. i use only have of what the bottle after almost killing two plants with to much nitrogen. here's my bubba kush grown with all fox farm nutes and soil003.JPG

What about flushing with plain water....would that help?
flushing will help, but id suggest just buying a cheap bag of potting soil, around $3-$5. ive heard of alot of problems using FFOF to start plants. moslty being nute burn which is your case. your best bet would be the potting soil.you can always flush, just make sure if it keeps spreadin to move into potting soil before you devistate your rooting system. if you see improvement then you should be fine.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll flush and watch close for spreading and save re-poting as a last resort. Kush looks awesome gopherbuddah. What about the Tiger Bloom for flowering....should I expect it to be too hot also, if my girls make it that far?
Also, I have good ventilation in my little grow room, will I need extra for 400W HPS when I start using it for flowering....will it put out a lot of heat?
