Sup my fellow horticulturalists?

Im about to embark on my first season of the great outdoors. ive done cfls inside and a couple little garden plants but nothing in the wild.

ive got 3 small spots so far and its been a hell of alot of work. about a 1/2 mile walk and its in a pretty good location.

as far as genetics ive got some seeds from some white widow, quite a few that i started at different times.

i am looking forward to the season and hope all of this work pays off in the end. once i get the babys out there ill start posting the pics

i am also trying to keep everything organic

feel free to comment

as far as the soil i went MG organic...i know there are some haters out there but it was pretty cheap and i had to give it a try. there is a little happy frog mixed in, perlite and peatmoss. a nice mix that will hopefully hold water/have good drainage.

the only things im really worried about is making a path in and out, baby deer finding and nibbling, or just wasting my time in general if i get nothing out of this. but at least its a nice healthy hobby. i could be doing meth or an alcoholic or something. doing this i feel like a mountain climber or one of those health nuts.

Well said ;). But smoking it? Health nut x D. Set up is sounding good. Mg is flamed for reasons both good and bad. The majority of people havn't used it. I did. It burnt the fuck outta my plants. Therefore i'm now using a hydrophonic soil pre mixed already. Perfect.

MG soil works well. Ive used it on several guerilla grows with good results. I wouldnt say its your end all solution though, mix in some composted horse shit if you can find it. Or most garden centers will have composted manure in bags which will greatly enrich your soil organically.

And this hobby is good clean fun and hard work. Sounds like youve got the right mind set for the adventure. Guerilla growing will beat the piss out of you especially if it gets real dry over the summer and you have to haul in water.

As for the deer nibbling there just aint much you can do besides keeping 6 with a fuckin shotgun. Ive tried every trick in the book and yet they still munch on em. This year ive took some 3ft bamboo rods and shoved them deep in to the ground and tied the seedlings to the rod with bread ties. Its usally after you burry your hole back in that the animals get curious and want to know why the ground was disturbed. So they will paw around in the loose soil looking for a meal and its usally your plant that becomes the meal. Try mixing your soil filling your hole and leaving it for a few days before sticking your plants in. That way the animals curiosity is satisfied and you not have wasted months raising a meal for them. Stacking them in will def help, how well we shall soon see.

Good luck on your adventure sub'd :peace: 1BMM

thanks for the input guys, im hoping to really keep track of things on here this year.

ive got one spot with soil thats been there all winter and the second i just finished hauling it out. as for the third spot i havnt even started digging:-( im going to wait a little while to bring them out too. see wich seedlings look the best and bring them out when they are strong.

as for the deer ive been pissing everywhere and maybe ill try some netting around my spots.

as for trying to be a health nut i would be using a vapo but its just too much of a process just to puff a quick bowl.

This is what I do for critter's to include deer. Moth balls and Irish spring soap (not to much soap as the mice like the fat in it) to use moth balls just grab a hand full and throw around the grow as for the soap cut into pieces and throw them around the grow, thats on the cheep. Than I also use "Repels-All" and "Liquid Fence" which you can buy at any K-Mart, Wall-Mart etc... stores. Than if you're feeling like a spend thrift you can use fox pee, just remember to buy the dispensers. There is also a myriad of other nature remedies. Good luck and remember to share with those less fortunate.

yea ive been hearing good things about the liquid fence, im going to try that and maybe some soap... I recently went out and dug the hole at my 3rd spot and started a 4th. hopefully im going deep enough through shit where animals wont be walking near my spots. but i did come across a pile of deer shit where i didnt think they could make it.

oh yea and as far as the seeds they are from 3 different types and i accidentaly mixed them all up. (i said all WW earlier) hopefully ill get some pics up soon. nothing to drool over but i always like pictures.

no pics yet but i did dig out the 4th hole and the soil there was very clayish and i dug up a shitload of termites ( think this could be a problem?). and i am going to start another 20 seeds this week just to up the selection.

i havnt done anything out in the jungle because im tryin not to wear a path. But i have transplanted about 15 into bigger pots and ive got maybe 20 more to do when they get a little bigger. want to put them out there when they are pretty strong.

and the termites i thought i saw where just red ants. and the weather hasnt been to sweet around here.

This is a shot of 8 decent looking ones. the one in the back left is the best in my opinion. sativa type growth but still filling in nicely. like i said today was hot as hell and tommorow is supposed to be worse so i want these babys in the ground.

and as far as the yellowing leaves im pretty sure its not N def. could be the heat.??

went out and dug a new hole this am and checked up on the ones in the ground and they are looking good. most of them are already stretching out.like i said, Im still in the process of making holes but at least some are in the ground and getting to spread thier roots. I am even planning on feeding them next week. Ive always been shy on the feeding out of fear of nuteburn. the tallest one is knee high and hopefully ill sack up and take some pics of them out in the jungle.

yea that hash was killer, it took me like 3 harvests to get my method down. the only thing is i dont know if the trim hash i made at first should have cured (kindof like buds need to dry out). but the finger hash from dried buds was off the meter. a nice change from smokin bowls and jays.
