damn unnk.. those buds gonna be a decent size you think? or popcornish?

the HPH i have has ALOT of the Cantaloupe Haze genetics and finishes around 11 weeks for me so they look popcornish but week 8-11 it gets super super dense

the leaves get REALLY Thai like long long long long thin then stems shoot for hte sky non stop untill week 5-6 of flower

Acts like JTR though not much active calyx growth till late in flowering builds up more trichrome coverage first

and to top its one of the best smelling tasting bud i have as Cantaloupe is my fav melon

So guys i have some money im trying to put into the room and i have a couple things i wanna make a investment into i want your idea's on what would be a good buy.

CO2 generator and a couple 5 gal propane tanks

Smart pots vs reg nursery pots

upgrading my bulbs to super hps eye from hortilux

acouple huge cfls to hit the corners that arent hit as full

What are your guys thought on these upgrades

Very nice!! I find the smart pots are more geared towards the hydro side, the roots will come popping through, and in many cases look like a big white beard. I run both and in soil I stay with good old conventional 7 G pots. Best of luck!

Hey Teawithlee - can you give more detail on why you only run smartpots with hydro? I am considering using them for cuttings/seedlings before I transplant to Autopots. Your insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

Its really just personal preference. I use the 2 Gallons in the Ebb an Flow system and have gotten great results, I am even considering using a few large ones outdoors this year..curious to see if the roots will make there way down into the native soil.

As for my Soil set up I like keeping the roots inside the container..probably just a mixture of my OCD and the fact that I already own a butt load of #7 pots.

I do think you will have great success with them for cuttings and seedlings though and imagine you could almost just sit them into the Auto Pots as soon as there ready as the roots will continue to make there way through. They are very permeable. Good luck with the Pandora's Box, Mine just came in the mail today!!

Thanks T. I can see how the SmartPots would work well in an ebb and flow. They probably keep the table pretty clean for coco growers. I tried ebb and flow with coco once and it was a huge mess. I had coco mud all over the bottom of the tray and in the res...

My Pando is looking really good right now. About a week and a half in flower, nice pistil production, and it really hasn't stretched all that much. Good luck with yours!

Quick question Unnk. Are you using a light mover...? I thought I may have read that in one of your posts....
If so, your take...If not, overlook the inquiry.

light movers are deff worth the money if used properly only suggested though if your canopy is nice and even its easier to work the plants closer to the light as well because less time the heat is on the plant. I can usually get 7-8 inches from my 1000

I agree that light movers are worth it. I started with one, removed it when I added a second light (thinking I didn't need it anymore) then bought a growzilla hood and put the mover back in. Definitely see the canopy fill in more evenly with the mover vs. two hoods - with the same light power in both configurations. As for even canopy, I have used bricks, milk crates, etc. to raise the shorter plants in a perpetual grow and get the overall height relatively consistent. In my current grow, all plants started at once, I am using LST to keep the height even.
