give it some time, it should grow out of it.. mine always do and if not, if i have to, use a tooth pick to help pry it off.

I always take mine off right away. That way the seedlings can progress faster and not fall behind from the others because of stubborn seed shells. There is no reason to leave them on. You'll need a steady hand as well as fine instruments (Exacto blades, needles, toothpicks and shit like that). Be very careful on the stubborn ones, its really easy to decapitate them.
