Alright, So here we go. Decided to make a journal so I can better keep track of my growth and have pictures available for any help I may need throughout this process. I want to invite anyone to give any input on what I am doing right or wrong. I will provide any information or pictures if needed. Thanks for your inquiry into my 1st grow.

I went with a closet grow for my first grow. For the reason of stealth and ease. The closet space I'm using is 3 x 2 x 5. Outlined by a wooden frame and heavy duty black bags. After realizing the amount of suction I have with using a 4" in-line fan that really works the bags. I wish I had used a little more wood horizontally for the frame so I could use heavy-duty staples to better hold the walls.

4 seeds are germinated:

Afghan Homegrown
Crystal
Ice
White Widow

Germinated in a paper towel using Poland Spring water inside 2 circular black take out containers. One on top of the other. Checking every 4-6 hours for moisture and temperature.

July 20th 2009

2/4 Sprouted Crystal and Ice seeds.

July 21st 2009

4/4 sprouted and all planted into pre-soaked rockwool using P.S. water @ room temperature.

July 22nd 2009

Crystal and Ice are planted into the Bubbleponics System after seeds sprouted out of rockwool.

July 23rd 2009

Afghan Homegrown and White Widow have sprouted and have been planted into the Bubbleponics System.

1/4th nutes added to water ( which now I wish I had waited just a day or two longer before adding)

**** I didn't think my White Widow was going to make it so I threw a seed into a damp rockwool ontop of the Bubbleponics system****
This seed grew let me tell you....

July 24th 2009

All 5 seeds in rockwool are planted into the Bubbleponics System.

pH is 5-6. Water temp's are warm (no thermometer) Plants are looking great.

July 30th 2009

Went to 1/2 strength nutes but I don't think the plants we ready so I decided to flush the system and go back to 1/4th.

The stem pictures are of the Afghan Homegrown. This plant ROCKS. I pray it's a female. Short and bushy. What I'm looking for!

I noticed little white bumps on the roots. Is that normal? Picture in the set. Roots look amazing in my opinion.

Today I will be going full strength nutes. The Ice and Crystal and definitely the leaders of the pack. Ice almost reaching 12" and Crystal right under "HER". The 2 White Widows are still looking ill. They are seemed to stopped at about 6" but today I noticed that there are new leaves forming and looking healthy and full. I guess either White Widow doesn't like Bubbleponics or perhaps it's not as forgiving with over nute'ing. The Afghan Homegrown is still my best looking in my opinion. She is about 7" and really really full. I've even noticed the joints where the leaves meet the stalk that they are becoming huge and strong. I will post pictures later after I have changed the water and entered full growth stage.

Roseman!? Where the hell are you. This grow, undoubtily, is in your honor.

I've decided to start the Bloom process. I've determined that this grow would be more of a learning process then a productive one. Although I am more then impressed with what I've accomplished having little experience with growing with water as the medium and having to balance nutrients.

So I'm at 1-1-1 as of right now. I've changed the reservoir and cleaned everything with hot water. I've removed the water feeder tubes and extension from the water pump but leaving it in for water circulation. So I'm excited about being at 12/12. Feel free to add any comments or advice. I'm new and completely open to criticism.

I'm going to be monitoring constantly until sex's are determined. I've got to research to see when exactly I should expect to see signs.

These pictures were taken later in the evening.

Things are looking good. I think I'm already able to see the sex of two or three of them and they look female to me. But it's still to early to tell. I attempted to take pictures of the sprouts but my camera doesn't like close-up's.

I think everything is going to plan. I wish there was more of an outline on scheduling for General Hydroponics. At least like a picture to information reference. I think it would help tremendously. I also really need to get a PPM meter. Not that I think I"m doing anything wrong. But I'd like to get the most out of what I produce.

If anyone reads this feel free to reply. I keep this more for my records of where I am and where I'm going. But love advice.

So Yeah I haven't posted in awhile but some things went shitty. My Ice and Crystal both turned out male. Which were really healthy and killed me to sacrificed them but it's natural selection baby.

So I'm left with 2 White Widow and Afghan Homegrown. My one White Widow is so not going to produce shit. Just was in the bad section of lighting and regardless of change of position it remained no taller then 7" so I'm going to attempt to let that one grow to clone after the buds are chopped.

So here's a pictures and dates that I've been saving up.

The pictures are dated so You can go from there and will be posted in chronological order.
