My Indoor Grow (70w hps & CFLs) Bagseed Adventure!

So I am starting this about 3 weeks into my grow. Started off with 7 beautiful babies, but due to lack of knowledge and miracle grow, I flushed the miracle grow from the soil and now I am left with 3 babies. Got them going in a rubbermaid with a 70 watt HPS from Lowe's and some CFLs for additional lighting.
Any suggestions to improve my box???

Picture 1 - My biggest baby, although they are all the same age this one is a giant compared to her hopeful sisters.
Picture 2 - The Box
Picture 3 - Inside the box, some lights are off for picture taking purposes.

Any suggestions? I think I need to put a second rubbermaid container on top of the one i have to seal everything off nicely, but then I am worried about heat issues, would a computer fan and a small exhaust fan be enough to keep the air circulated to the plants liking?

My Ghetto Growbox, 2 Rubbermaid Containers, (1) 70 Watt HPS Remote Ballasted 6000 Lumens (2700 K), (3) 15 Watt CFLs 900 Lumens each or 2700 Lumens Combined (6700 K). Total of 8,700 Lumens between all combined lighting inside. Down to 2 Plants, I accidently broke the main stem on one of my smaller plants, it wasn't doing too well anyways, I kinda knew it wouldn't make it much longer. LOL Got the big ol' fan blowing on them, cardboard wrapped around the Rubbermaid Containers to prevent light from escaping how could i better seal this thing off to prevent light leakage?

Bigger plant topped today, smaller plant I might leave the top on to see comparison of topped and left alone plants, if both turn out female, keeping my fingers crossed.

Here are some pictures of my baby. No balls yet, thank god. This is just an experimental grow, also my first grow so I am experimenting with the FIM Method. Does this look like a successful FIM to you guys with more experience? My other baby is growing so slow, I am dissapointed in it, hopefully it will shoot off soon and catch up with it's hopeful sister.

I'm looking forward to this grow bro. Subbed. I personally love the FIM technique, it gives you anywhere from 2-8 shoots and evenly spreads out the colas and budsites and accommodates the lighting.

Hi oneinthechamber,

I don't think your FIM succeed, do you see, your new leaves are cut on the tip as well, even if you didn't cut them. I try the FIM too with my plants this year and got the same problem. The only solution then is to top them (or try a new FIM but this opperation brings stress so you shouldn't do it too much).otherwise your plant will continue to grow with stranges half leaves.
Apart from that I like your grow, I am too using low wattage.

Thanks guys, Hopefully it will show its sex soon. I put it on 12/12 about 3 days so far, I would hate to see those POLLEN SACKS!
Yeah I hate seeing those plant's ballsacks and realizing it's a male. Hopefully you'll get at least 1 female from your batch. bongsmilie it up! Ha, good luck. Stop in and take a peek at my new grow. It's in the germination stage right now.

Btw, when you FIM, leave about 10-20% of the new growth left, and within 5 days you should start to see your new branch shoots.
