Good luck on finding the tiny bomb pheno!!

I am wondering if I stand a chance to find my own tiny bomb pheno from having a bunch of seeds of my own cross spacebomb x spacebomb. Either way, I am ready for some serious resin after looking at the mom go.

Tiny bomb pheno or not, if it smells anything like my spacebomb, you will be pleased!!!

Hey Green. The LED's are Grow Stealth Quantum Pro-Bloom 600w. This is my first grow setup so I have nothing to compare them too. Id like to see bigger buds, I don't know if that is due to my skill level and/or the LED's.

BTW what brand of LED's are you growing under and are you 100% satisfied with them ?

Happy Holidays peeps.

Week 8
Trichomes are starting to get cloudy, no amber or fade yet which is a good thing because I am going up to Oregon for the last Salmon trip of the season. Harvest will probly be a little late but it cant be avioded, I want more of a body buzz anyway.

This time of year the last king salmon run in southern Oregon is out of Port Orford, a couple of hours south of Lakeside. The fun part of this time of year is most people have switched over to steelhead fishing, last year same time same place I fished for 5 days and brought home 100lbs of fish, was epic. Hoping for a repeat.

I have a friend in lakeside Or. that has a fishing outfit name of Tamus, I miss that guy

Ah yes sushi, love the stuff. I have actually become pretty good at making sushi, at least my friends would rather eat at my house then go to any of the local restaurants. Haven't used the wild salmon I have caught for it, I have a place in Berkeley that I get the ingredients from; tuna, hamachi, uni, etc. I do rolls, sushi and make a killer Poki salad.

As for what I catch, I give most of it away. The rest, smoke, bake, can. Suppose I could try sushi from it, I was always told u had to be careful with eating raw salmon.

hmmm. i wonder why...it is very popular in sushi restaurants....you wouldn't think so if it is deemed safe for the public.

Raw salmon dishes—tartare, crudo, sushi, marinated and cured salmon—are growing in popularity. But unless that fish has been frozen first, it would be wise to pass. That’s because a tiny tapeworm larva may lurk in the raw salmon flesh, just waiting for you to eat it so that it can take up residence in your digestive tract.

Frozen it is!

Subbie - You're making me jones for some salmon (or steelhead) fishing... As soon as the Russian River flows are within range, it's time to float the river in my kayak and hopefully bring home some fresh chrome. This latest storm blew things out completely...

Where in Berkeley do you get your sashimi grade fish? I'm in the Berkeley area as well.

A little salmon knowledge... Once salmon enter the river system, they are in the slow process of dying. The flesh slowly degrades and loses its fresh tastiness. River salmon an be great for grilling and smoking, but it's not fit for sushi, etc.

If you are fishing near the mouth of a river (or your timing happens to e great) you can catch salmon that are still very fresh (still have scales and a shiny chrome color). If you are further from salt water (or late in the season) the fish get pretty ratty. They turn reddish brown, loose all their scales, and just generally start looking like zombies (flesh literally starts melting off the bones).

Anyway... Happy growing, folks.

Since I fish so frequently, we only kill chrome fish, that means for you non fisherpersons, they have just entered the river from the ocean. And we fish no further than about 8 miles from the ocean. We'll probly throw in some steelhead fishin assuming we hit salmon limits (2) per person per day.

Here's the place in Berkely, I'm serious about the best quality and this place has it. Also has the best fish market around and it has a nice selection of asian goods and sake!

That's the fish market I go to as well (when the freezer is running low). I get cheap fresh squid there too, which I use to catch dungeness crabs, halibut, rockfish, lingcod, etc, etc.

Small world...
