My Little Grow Box

I am working on a stealth grow box in my room. The box is a wooden night stand with magnetic doors and is built like a brick shit house. I plan on growing autos in it because of it's small size. I plan on having three 100 watt 6500k bulbs in it, and an intake and outtake fan. This is going to be my first grow and I want to know what you guys think of the setup so far.

Never got to it and I became to tired, but will be up later in the day lol I am also thinking about just trying out some bagseed in it directly into a 12/12 light cycle while I acquire currency for some auto seeds. I really want to get top 69 which is a northern lights auto flowering plant bred by I think Advanced seeds. I have seen it on the attitude and I think I am in love.

I grew plants in a nightstand and if you wanna increase the yield a little in small spaces you better veg the plants. 12/12 from seed won't give you much, I tell you from experience.

I have read that it really depends on strain with the whole 12/12 thing, but it really seems like it is almost exactly the same as an auto would do. I have heard that even vegging for two weeks really does help yield.

Do you think 3 100 watt 6500k cfls would be good? I am having trouble getting my other lightbulb adapter onto the power strip Many need to do some sanding

I am a bit confused with lighting now. Lets say I only have room for 4 cfls. What would be the best types of cfls for this box? I would really appreciate it if someone would help me out.

That seems very inefficient. When I was growing in a small box, I used PC fans wired with a cellphone charger. I mean, the USB method works, but I imagine it would create a lot of overhead in the energy department. Just my 2 cents brah, good luck!

Good point, I just dont have a bunch of cell chargers, but I do have a bunch of usb cables.

I had no idea what I was talking about before with the cfls, I got that worked out and am planning on adding more to the 42 watt 2700k and the two 26 watt 6500k cfls that I have now.

Look up low stress training. There are all kinds of methods to keep plants small. I am doing a 12/12 grow which means I am going right into flowering to keep them small.

Really tho, you ever actually wondered why your such a douche?
Go back and look at your posts..you pretty much rag on everyone you ever leave a comment with. Instead of being a dick about shit you could just bring up the space issues in a nice way and hope it helped a fellow grower out.

Troll isnt it past your bed time? And thread starter keep it up buddy i got almost 2 zips dry from my Micro CFL box some damn good smoke to and i know what it was grow with and in nothing but good clean smoke Veg till you reach the 2 or 3 node if you want to do a 12/12 from seed less stress on the plant and you'll get another 4 grams or so per plant maybe more. I have some going that i vegged till 3 node then straight into 12/12 also another good idea since you have a small space. Im running 11 plants in my box right now 10 in 2 litters and party cups"soon to be all in 2 litter pop bottles" and i have one plant in a #3 smart pot. I run 6 plants at a time for 12 hours then i switch out the plants and run the next 5 2 litter girls for 12 hours then switch. my box is on 24/7 so that allows for two batches of flowering plants in there!!!! My #3 smart pot stays in the box 24/7 cuz im veging it out going to lst till the 2 litter girls finish then im going to put a screen in there and attempt to scrog my #3 smart pot girl. Dont let anyone tell you that ya cant grow anything worth smoking in a CFL micro box cuz they are the jackass's missing out on growing their own smoke. Shit last time i grew like 5 plants per 1 gallon pot after transplanting them from party cups hahahah do you know how many people said it couldn't be done well i did it grew them from start to finish then smoked on my OWN buds for almost a month straight!!!!! Also theres one thing that separates us from the rest we are growing for our own consumption not to be big time drug dealers so we are happy with a half ounce per plant plus it takes more skill to grow them in a box then it does full size in a room. And run bagseed your firt grow so you can get a handle on growing and growing in a small ass box kinda funny to think my girls spent their entire life in a wooden box i called them my closet gimp

6500K for veg
2700K for flower

run the 6500K until you see first signs of sex then start switching the 6500 out for the 2700 and you want twice the watts in flower then in veg so if your running 3 23 watt 6500K you want 6 23 watt 2700K. I run 26 watt CFL cuz i like the way they make my plants grow they are rated 1600 lums just like a 23 watt 6500 but i feel they give a more true lum out of the bulb meaning the real output of the CFL is closer to what its rated for always look at the lum per watt output the lower the watt the better the lum per watt. Also they make Y socket adapters so you can run two bulb in one socket and they make outlet to sockets so you can run a Bulb in a standard wall outlet so you can use extension cords and etc to run bulbs but myself i use power strips/surge proctors and zipties you'll find zip ties to be one of your best friends being a CFL micro grower Also pipe scrubbers work pretty good for LST'ing. If you want any more info just PM me always willing to share knowledge hah its half the reason why i know so much cuz of the helpful people here on RIU just dont mind the trolls they have no life and nothing better to do with their time.

Thank you for the advice man. I already had one of my babies pop up today and the other should be up by tomorrow morning. Hell yeah on the pipe cleaners! I also bought some molasses today and mixed two tablespoons into a gallon of water. I hear that it works for vegging but is mainly for flowering, but I am sure it wont hurt em every now and then. I will try to get some pics up tonight if I can. They dont sell y splitters around here, I looked, so I will just have to deal with what I got. I will probably buy a lamp kit and get another 42 watt in the future, but for now they are fine. Yes indeed, troll needs a life.
