A week sounds right on. You'll notice an overall change in color when she's ready. It's not always just the color of trichs to determine chop time.

Was wondering about that too... Is all about the trich color or the dying back of amber pistal hairs , or a matter of taste.
My trichs are getting cloudy , not yet amber.

As soon as my plants change color, I check trichs and harvest with mostly cloudy with amber just starting.

One thing does occur to me, looking at those photos.

One of the less rigorous indications of readiness is the dying back of the bud leaves.

....in just about all those photos the plants look dark and shiny green....very healthy
and appearing to be growing strong.

I wonder what a week will do on that front?

In any case, congrats on a successful grow.

Great question man .. i often thought the leaves told you what you needed to know anyway,, but with so many scopes and shit everyone can see everything now and thus has an opinion...
Actually I can see an overall discoloration in the leaves espec the LA Confidential. SO going by what you suggest I still think I am close... at least at flush stage.
