Glad to be back on RIU. I had another account cant remember log in oh well im no longer jtotheitothedblmwhy :).
Lets get to it shall we?? Im growing 10 mi5's (all fem auto flowers), 5 russian rocket fuels (autoflower was 10 got 50/50 on sexing), 5 black russians (fem photoperiod), and five Jamiacan og (not sexed photoperiod). I also have a lot more seeds like swiss cheese, more Jamiacans, some pure indica blah blah, but thats not important they not growing yet. :) Right now i have all my plants in a 4 x 4 tent under a 600w mh conversion bulb. All plants more or less where popped out of soil on 10th of dec 2011, they are in three gallon grow bags loving my fox farm ocean forest(i swear by this soil tho a bit hot for seedlings i get er done). What else would you like to know. Im using bio biz fertizers, such as bio grow, bio bloom, top max, and bio heaven(root supplement). I also have a 25 gallon tupperware container with my water being oxygenated by two large airstones.. do this soil growers its like a half assed hydro setup makes a differance in growth rates, i wont get all complicated basically more oxygen at roots faster growth... my auto flowers are already flowering... it think thats great. So i have a second 4x4 tent ready for them and a second 600w setup, im waiting for weekend to set that up.. my light is about 1.5 feet away from plants, the hood im using has glass shield and air in takes so i was able to hook vortex fan to it to draw air over bulb then expell into room keep my temp at 75 and humidity around 35%... what else.. i havent been phing lol, im using well water... i jus heard about 20 of you shiver... ask fdd what tap water from a hose can do, im not saying your water is unimportant but well watch :) heres some pics if yall have any question comment or concerns please please please post i have no friends LOL :leaf:

Seems like your going to be sacrificing yield running photoperiod and autos together... Unless you have a different tent for flowering. I thought the whole idea is you can feed autos 24h of light and get nice big buds.

*Edit: never mid i see you said you have a second tent... that should work out nice. GL with the grow.

This is my second run with the Lowryder #2 strain from the joint doctor. Third grow in all. First was a hydro setup... what a pain in the ass that was. Anyways, I was wondering what the yield is like with the Russian Rocket Fuel. Have you ever finished out with the strain and, if so, what was your yield like?

Here are some pics of my bitches, both first run and current. I'm running a digital 1kw hps with a light mover at 22/2 cycle. MG soil in 2 gal grow bags, Alaska fish fert for veg, black strap molasses, Epsom salt, snow storm ultra, C02 and FF big bloom. I'm still trying to get my yield up to what the joint doctor claims.

Shhhhhhhh. Don't tell my wife.

Thanks man. I'll keep an eye on your posts to see how they finish. Also, I haven't been using a MH for the veg period on these autos. Do you think it would help on my next round if I start em under MH, then after sexing switch to HPS? It's just that these seem to start flowering at 20 days, and even 5 more days of veg growth would make a huge difference in the yield.

its didnt seem to effect my flowering time or even size of plants, ive read on another site auto flowers are dependent on when there roots hit walls of container to flower, which is why in wild they take a bit longer, mine flowered in about 20 days, concentrate on your roots, use oxygenated water, more o2 to the roots better your plants.. the main reason im using a mh is i have photoperiod in tyhat tent right now, i also read its great to have both spectrums running during flowering, i dont have another ballast so i plan to put in my mh evry 3rd day or so during flowering...

oh iu meant to ask you, you didnt run into probs using mg soil, it didnt have time released ferts in it or the auto jus seem to ride in it? i heard mg will release ferts as you water messing up your feeding regiment, but shyt if not i couldve saved a bunch switch to geico..i mean mg.. next time too try maybe a couple plants in 3gal bags, thats what im using, because i hear direct correlation between root size and plants, more room bigger plant

No problems with the MG soil for the most part, but I know they will have problems if the MG is kept wet or watered more than once every 4-6 days. I add about 40% perlite to it to help it dry before I water again, but I would have dropped the extra cash to get Happy Frog FF soil, if there were a garden store that carried it near here. That's interesting about the roots hitting the walls and makes sense with my experience on this strain. I'll have to try the bigger bags. Thx

Also, how are you starting them? I've been using 1 inch rock wool cubes in a cheap tray with a clear lid and place it on a heating pad on low, and then I drop them in soil after sprout, prior to the root tail showing on the bottom/sides. But I was thinking of germinating in soil from the beginning. One thing I did learn with this strain was not to germ in a paper towel... They only got about 6 in. tall on my original test run. Kinda goes with what you said about the roots hitting walls or being jacked with and they slow down or even stop all together.
